Although we can blame smartphones for a lot of bad things.
I have to give cred for this.
As we were on the flight home I couldn't stop looking out at the beautiful clouds I was surrounded by! Luckily with flight mode I was able to capture the bountifulness I witnessed!
I'm not a huge fan of fast food, that's not because it's unhealthy. It's mainly because I gain weight super easy and my body feels bad after eating greasy foods. It has happened I have thrown up on several occasions. So I try to be somewhat careful.
Anyway, being in Norrland last week and lack of inspiration of what to eat, we went to Frasses. A hamburger chain from the North. I do believe they also have in other areas of Sweden too. However to me, this is a Northen Swedish chain.
This time around we tried their new BBQ Bacon meal. It was surely worth every penny! It also came with free coffee.
The size of the "normal set menu" was a lot bigger than I expected!!
Totally satisfied, it felt more fresh than most hamburger places!!
A few weeks ago after spending the whole day outside we came home and I made us ddeokbooki for dinner, or to be completely correct Cheese Rabokki.
It looks much, but my bf can eat a lot...
Anyway this is one of my fave Korean dishes, probably my fave all time!! Over the years I have become better and better at making this dish. All my Korean friends who have tried my version says I'm really good, so it's a good grade ^^
Is probably having it tomorrow night too, before my bf leaves for Korea.
Gonna be solo for 3 weeks, wonder how I will spend my time, probably in front of my laptop watching tv series lol
As we were in Norrland last weekend, I tried to find a restaurant where we could get some Northen Swedish food. We found one place that stood out from the others.
As an appetizer we shared this plate of Palt (A potato dumpling filled with meat). Ours had a twist and had meat on top instead, and not just any meat. It was reindeer meat ^^
Both of us enjoyed it, also my bf had never tried it before so it was a fun experience!!
Ever since I was young, Langos is the dish you eat at carnivals, amusement parks etc.
However it's not like I visit them often, in other words, it has been a long time since I ate one.
Me and my bf found it a few weeks ago as we passed by a rock festival in central Stockholm. And let me just say, this is probably a Swedish thing. My bf did not get it at all XD
I told my friend about it and she was jealous, so I guess our upbringing makes this a huge difference. My bf eats most things, but I would not add this to his top 10 list of foods I have introduced him too.
But I on the other hand was extremely satisfied. ^^ I guess I can last for a while now lol
I had a "normal" one while by bf tried a curry inspired one. ^^
While in Umeå we met up with a good friend of mine, she's from Umeå and she took us to a nice cafe in the middle of nowhere, at least to us.
It was really cute and a little bit outside the city center, so without her we'd never found it.
They had mostly organic foods. We also found these cute organic drinks. I chose the lemonade and E chose the one with Elder flower. Both were really delicious and perfect for the weather ^^
For lunch I took a salad with hummus, it was super delicious. A little too much dressing maybe, but the hummus was delicious so ^^
As my final meal and maybe the best meal, I had a Quiche Lorraine.
We found a small restaurant / cafe close to the Eiffel tower. It was THE only place in Paris where they were nice. They were genuine nice not the "I want more tips" nice.
The food and service was great. Location too. It was filled with people from all over the world + domestic!
Too bad I do not remember the name, but I'd surely find my way back!!
It will take some time before we see U-Know again. I bet this was prepared well before his army duty.
The video is so so, I rather wanted more of his dance skills.
But it's U-know so cannot refuse ^^
I pass by this place every morning on my way to work. And every time I think this pastry looks delicious. So, two weeks down the road I felt a huge craving. Still had no idea what it was but looked awesome. Yesterday morning I told me bf I had to stop by to get one (although breakfast was served at the office). He wonder what it was and tagged along, he knows by now if I say something looks delicious he wants to eat it too ^^
They also serve breakfast coffee, we got that from there before so well, it became an expensive breakfast consider what it was lol.
So what was this little pastry. To be honest I thought it was more going to be like a fluffy coconut bread, however it was a coconut cookie. My brother would have LOVED this one.
It was good, everything it should be. Yet not my fave kind of cookie. but now I have tasted it.
This is from last weekend, me and my bf had sushi for dinner.
We went to one of my fave sushi places in Stockholm. Or at least used to be. Now it was so-so. Not bad but I wouldn't travel far (like before) to eat there.
But still.. it's WAAAAY better than most sushi places in Sweden!!
The place is located at Odenplan area in central Stockholm.
And it's called Kimama sushi (きまま).
Hungry as a troll I went for their Medium sized one.
I looked into JYPs youtube feed and found this.
I know I have heard the song before, but I didn't know it was Yeeun who was "behind" the track ^^
I really like the music and lyrics for this one, although the lyrics is kinda simple.
In Seoul they have set up a 350m long water slide!
Perfect for the season no?? They have named it "City Slide Festa".
It looks like a lot of fun and a great way to cool down!! Innovative? and fun :)
I went to see this last night with S. What can I say, the guys delivered. And some scenes, omg I laughed a lot. I bet they had a lot of fun when making it. Anyway, I have to say one thing... I have never experienced so many people going in and out during a movie less than 2 hours. I guess it was too much for some? But c'mon it's called XXL and most have probably seen the trailer so what did they expect? It's a great movie to see to get a laugh or to see some bare good looking men ^^ But not so much story, although for this movie it's not needed. It gave me a great laugh it surely delivers, an upgrade from the last movie! After it ended and we stood in line for the washroom, S and I overheard some other women, one had seen it twice and was most likely to see it once more!! OK it was entertaining but not that much I'd watch it two, let alone THREE times in the movie theater!!! Another thought the choreography was great, Ok, I'm not a dancer but... it was good but not THAT awesome as she said!! So for all you single ladies or women who likes some fun and a good laugh, go and see it. But for your couple ladies, do not bring your man!! It's not for him XD

This one popped up in my YT feed and I think this is addictive.
It's Girl's Day new single 링마벨 (Ring my bell)
The lyrics is nothing special but it's sorta catchy ^^
One of the nights in Paris I had steak tartare for dinner.
It was huge, 170 grams of beef, but since it was delicious I forced the whole thing down my throat XD
The staff at the cafe which was located almost opposite our hotel was so-so. The food was nice but the staff left us for a very long time, they did not seem to care so much. They only cared, of what I could notice, their locals. Or maybe it was because we did not speak French? A shame... or maybe that's a Parisian thing??
But how can people expect a big tip when they do nothing?! Oh well, the chef maybe?! ^^ The food was great. To me, steak tartare is a must eat in Paris ^^
I can still remember the first time I heard Missy Higgins, I got her cd as Christmas present. I had no idea who she was and what kind of music. However I loved it.
I got her debut album from our "relatives" in Aus.
Here's is a kinda new song, one of my fave from her latest album Oz.
As said yesterday, here's my second post about Versailles.
Below are some pics from the garden. I'd really love to go back here and explore even more.
It's was so beautiful, I would like to know what Louis XIV had in mind when he wanted to create this beautiful garden. And also what it looked like back in the days!
If you go to Paris, I'd say this is a M U S T visit!!!
With 10 min left before Galeries Lafayette closed I was lucky to get this one. It was 50% sale and that was also a main reason why I bought it so quickly.
I have wanted a bag from Marc Jacobs for years, however as they are quite pricey it not something you just go and buy like that. I had taken a look at quite few ones, same line, the Classic Q Natasha, however I couldn't find the colour I wanted - wine/red/green/white..
I wanted black, but it's never on sale as it's the classic one! Also, I have the gray wallet so it would look stupid to have it in the same colour. So in the end I went for this one, Beige! I really like the beige colour, it's good all year around!
I'm super happy I found it for such a great price!!! A wish came through ^^
