Kakao talk craziness

Kakaotalk and Line are huge in Korea.

Even Coca Cola uses Kakaotalk.

Lately I use to tell my darling this word, so when I saw the can in Korea I had to buy it.

심쿵해 means the heart is beating hard

해동 용궁사

Before you say something about the white mark.. no it's not what you think.

That is an OLD Buddhist mark which Mr H. later stole, changed and used for other purposes!

We went to the famous Haedong Yonggoongsa outside Busan when we were in Korea.

It was around Buddha's birthday therefore all the colour!

It was fun to finally go here, it was filled with people visiting. Both foreigners and Koreans.

A great tourist spot if visiting Busan!

I saw this movie the other week, it was hilarious! Some might say this or that. But I think many can relate to it in some points!
It has been quite some time I saw a french movie I actually ENJOYED ^^
I recommend this if you want laughter!

The country of kimbap

This time around in Korea I ate a lot of kimbap, aka seaweed rolls. NO not sushi.

Anyway, I ate home made, kimbap cheonguk and other franchises such as Robot kimbap.

I was happily surprised to try new ones, as in they had different toppings - jeyuk, donkatsu, ddeok galbi etc.

I could eat this for lunch several times a week if they were sold here in Sweden!

It's a quick meal but you get it all - veggies, meat, rice! ^^

Cup cuteness

Last time in Korea when we bought morning coffee at Paris Baguette we got these cups.

They could be dressed and undressed..haha

So cute ^^

The lid was shaped like a hat, so awesome! It totally made my day!

The other day as the weather suddenly turned out well, we took a 2 hour walk around Hagaparken, which is close to our house.

It was very nice, we are surely to take more walks here during this summer season!

I've forgotten how lovely this park is!!

Korean inspired Wedding dress

The other day I started to think about wedding dresses, I blame friends on fb who recently got married!

Anyway, I started to look at Hanbok inspired dresses and found these, looks quite fun and I think I got some ideas, of course it should be white white white!!!

Then again, it's a long time to go, so no stress!

Lunch @ Totemo Ramen

I stopped by the new Ramen place close to St Eriksgatan the other day.

They only have open between lunch hours, so the day when I worked from home I decided to go.

It's very small, just like Japan, and it was extremely hot inside!

They have 4 kinds of ramen - Shouyu, Shio, Spicy Miso and Vegetarian.

I chose the spicy miso.

The kitchen was super small but the chef managed to cook relatively fast.

So to the dish, yes it was spicy and a good miso flavour could maybe be a bit thicker.

However I'm not sure if it's mixed with Shio base, it was very salty for my taste.

The Chasu, it had a good taste but one of the ones I got was almost only fat.

Also one sad thing, NO egg, that is an extra you have to purchase! 

But in all.. so far THE BEST Miso Ramen in Sweden, of the ones I have tried so far.

Then we are talking about Ki-mama, Wagamama. I still need to visit Blue Yokohama and Ai-ramen.

Dinner @ Lilla Ego

We walk pass this place almost every day as it's on the way home!

It has been crowded ever since it opened, and it's a 90 day wait to get a table! A first for Sweden!!

But we did it, we waited! and we got a good table.

We also invited my parents as they also had heard good things about this place. And the more the merrier right? We went all in and ordered a 3 courses meal.

We loved the food, and it's very affordable considering what you get on the plate!! I'd never do it myself and the tastes are just awesome, I wonder how they do it, all the components mixed together like a beautiful marriage ^^;;

Mum and I shared the delicious bleak roe, while my dad and darling chose the veal tartar, both very delicious, and although I love raw meat, the roe won this battle!

For main both mum and I took the Char, it was delicious, I never eat it at home to be honest so it was a great choice. My darling chose the lamb shoulder, which was cooked very well.

And dad chose the Halibut, can't find the picture, but that too was delicious.

Then we shared two portions of their Raspberry deluxe dessert, also this a master piece of deliciousness on a plate.

There were no flaws and I understand the popularity, the food is worth every penny!

If I can have ONE thing to complain about, then it was the wine, I think I have never been served so little in a wine glass before. Delicious wine but yes, not a lot.

If you want to go, be prepared and book in advance. Eat it all!!

Dinner w friends

Last weekend we had dinner at a friends' house.

She cooked Korean food and had a fresh Greek salad. Another friend bought dessert from Gateau.

It was a fun evening!!

Home made is the best! And share with friends!

It's not the exact one, for some reason a lot of the stuff I bought cannot be found online.

Not sure why, because most things said "New Arrival".

Anyway, the one I got is very similar. I like the thicker fabric and the fit of it, slightly large.

I chose L because of the fit, both worked but since it's cotton you never know.
