설국열차 (Snowpiercer)

This movie opened up in S.Korea last weekend.
And it topped the movies, I guess it was for a few reasons.

1. Korean star actor Song Kang-Ho is in it.
2. It's a mix - South Korean/American/French sci-fi action thriller. And the film is based on the French graphic novel "Le Transperceneige".

The story is: The film is set in a future where a runaway experiment to stop global warming has caused an ice age that killed nearly all life on the planet. The only survivors are the inhabitants of the 'Snowpiercer', a massive train that travels around the planet and is powered by a perpetual-motion engine. Over time a class system evolves on the train, with the elites inhabiting the front of the train and poor inhabiting the back of the train. Tired of their poor living conditions, the riders in the back revolt, attempting to seize control of the engine, which the elites in the front consider sacred.

Also Song Kang-Ho and Go Ah-Sung is paired up again, or at least in the same movie, not 100% sure what relationship they have since I haven't seen the movie yet.
For you who have seen the Korean movie "The Host"... Ah-sung acted as Kang-Ho's daughter.

Anyway...this looked quite interesting and I can understand that the movie has topped the Korean box office!
I hope it will be released in Sweden ^^

Enjoy the trailer ;)
