One of the most awesome places in Athens was the Panathinaikon Stadium!
It was amazing to see and walk around in this arena!!
Cannot believe they have used it so many years ago, and still it looks amazing. I do understand they have made some work here and there, still, the architecture and size!!
I climbed this stairs, ALL of them, three times! Sounds stupid but, there were different sights from different locations, and I didn't realized all of them until we heard the audio guide!
Tiring in the sun, but worth it! ^^
I loved that they offered an audio guide, free of charge too!
It was very interesting to listen to, because we learnt so much more about this stadium than we would have just by walking around!

There was also a "secret" passage and it took us to a place/room where we could see posters and torches that have been used at different Olympics.
