The difficulty to get an Arashi ticket

When people ask, Why is it so hard to get tickets for Arashi concerts?
Well we all know how popular they are but it seems it's slowly going down. But let's go through some numbers you can get an idea of why it's so hard + all the scalpers who take tickets to sell them and make money. I'm not sure of the official members of the fanclub but I heard the the number passed 2 million. But it could also be that people left, the ID still grows. Anyway you get the picture of the amount of members!

Looking at the past years, they have had 3 concerts at each venue (Sapporo, Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka). Well at Tokyo Dome they have had 6 concerts making it a total of 18 performances.

Sapporo usually holds 53 000 people x3 = 159 000 people
Tokyo dome usually holds 55 000 x6 = 330 000 people
Osaka usually holds 45 000 x3 = 135 000 people
Nagoya usually holds 40 000 x3 = 120 000 people
Fukuoka usually holds 35 000 x3 = 105 000 people

Total audience 849 000 people

We all know it's a lottery, you send in the venue you want to go to and the dates. You rank them 1-4.
You also send in the amount of tickets you wish for 1-4. You need to write the names of the ones who will go with you.

You usually have one week to ballot, afterwards it takes 1,5-2 months before you get to know the result..
All I can say is...WOW.. it has to be a hard work to puzzle this out!!!
I read these numbers last year.

【Number of tickets】
1 person applying for 1 ticket per performance 10%
1 person applying for 2 tickets per performance 60%
1 person applying for 3 tickets per performance 10%
1 person applying for 4 tickets per performance 20%

I think you now can understand why it's so difficult.
2 million members, each can request 1-4 tickets.
Let's say each member requests 4 tickets, 2x4 = 6 million.
6 million divided in 849 000 seats. Yes, it's the same as to win the real lottery jackpot.

I do not recommend buying from the black market. The prices are insane.
We all love them and it's amazing to see them live but the scalp price is not worth it!
Buy the dvd instead!
