엠버 미니앨범 1집 - Beautiful

Instead of having new groups or singers SM is now trying to let more of their artists to go solo.
Now it's time for tomboy Amber, I like that she's not the typical girl that we can find so easily in Kpop. But I wonder how much is the real Amber and what she has been asked to "be".
Anyway, back to the album. It's a mini album and comes with 5 tracks. As for the main track Shake that brass, I was NOT impressed, and although I like TaeYeon, to me it felt kinda unnecessary that she was in it, so sing "Hey", "Yeah", "u-ha" and one-two lines where her voice shines through, in the rest they sound blend and could be any girl. So why even bother?! I don't like the sound of the music either... I have really tried but WHY did they chose that track as main track?
However, I'm not gonna bash the whole album, I actually like the other songs - Beautiful, Love Run and Heights are my fave. Although I have to admit the song I just wanna feat. Eric Nam is not too bad either. And most songs had sounds that were, in my opinion, unexpected. She really gets to show the Kpop world that she' not only the rapper and tomboy we are used to see. I actually wish she'd used one of those songs as title track!!! Well done!! And I hope we get to hear more from her!!!

After almost a year of the release of "Pink Tape", SM's more fierce girl band, f(x), is back with a new full length album.  This one contains various types of music - urban R&B, dance-pop and electro-pop. It's nice that this album contains all new material, but I'm still not convinced if all of the styles really fit them!? For some of the songs, they sound too soft.
My fave songs are 나비 (Butterfly), Dracula, 종이 심장 (Paper Heart).

The new song is called Red Light, I guess the video fits the song, still it's kinda plain and it feels like we have seen it way way before.

Anyway, this song will be useful at the gym ^^

Make your Move (OST)

The movie was so-so.. but I like a lot of the songs from the soundtrack!
I give it many thumbs up!! ^^
My fave songs are Let me in, You found me, Runnin on Empty, Fall For You, and Catching Shadows.
I donno, I don't have a lot to say, I mean the songs fit the movie and it's a soundtrack... It's fun to get some English songs with all Kpop artists. What I miss is a track by BoA herself!? I think I read she did the Let me in during the movie... but it's not on the album?!
SNSD's Cheap Cheeper sounds a like Britney Spears's Womanizer, or is it just me!? And why didn't f(x) do an original song for this movie, why use NU ABO?

Vol.2 Pink Tape

SM's sensation f(x) is back with their second album called Pink tape.
I like their style because they are very different from their senior Girls' Generation.
And also they bring a new mix to SM and Kpop.
However this album do not convince me, I prefer their old albums more.
What I will give them cred for is the enormous mix of music styles featured on the album.
I'm not saying this is bad, but the thing is... I listen and after I go, what did I just listen to!? The only songs that get stuck on my mind are "Goodbye summer" with Amber, Luna, Krystal and EXO-K's D.O. and "Ending page"
Maybe I need to listen more to it, but to be frank, I don't really feel like it. Oh well... better luck next year!

첫 사랑니(Rum Pum Pum Pum) MV

It's here... F(x)'s comeback song.
It's a...hmmm...typical f(x) kind of song yet different.
After listening to it, it's so so, both music and lyrics. But I think I will grow to like it, I hope so, if I listen more to it.

As for the mv, kinda boring!? The dance and concept looks like something we have seen before. Where's the surprise!?!?!
Also I do not like Krystal's, Amber's or Sulli's hairstyles. But Luna and Victoria looks good ^^

After Psy

Today i found this article! In Swedish Metro they say that SM's f(x) is the new kpop that will sweep over the world!
I donno but that might be true, at least they are unique in many ways, just like the article also says! (They have done some research i have to say ^^)

Anyway it feels like kpop is growing here in Sweden, but we cannot be sure if it only has to with that it's because the help of major Americans influence...

Next out should be 2NE1!

The music video for f(x)'s new song Electric Shock just came out...
My reaction after watching is: Well at least it's a typcial f(x) video, lots of colours and good dancing part. But isn't it a bit boring? Did SM put all their money into SNSD so that the other artists are left without??
I loved the song so I guess I had higher expectations.... not that's bad but well.. it could have had been even better!!

엘렉트릭 쇼크!

The thing that is eye-catching with this girlband is that they are different, their music and style.
I wouldn't call it random but it's not something I'd thought would come from SM Entertainment ^^
It has been quite some time since we last saw f(x)... a year!?
Now they are doing their comeback with a catchy song - ELECTRIC SHOCK!
My fave is still the trio's song Beautiful Stranger (^^;;)
I'm looking forward to their comeback stage!!

Kim Yuna's Kiss & Cry

There are many shows I follow from S.Korea and Japan...
Right now I follow mostly Korean shows, both dramas and varity shows.
One of my fave varity show right now is KIM YUNA's Kiss & Cry - My fave couples are DBSK's Yun-Ho & Claudia and F(x)'s Krystal & Lee Dong-Hoon

This weeks show was really fun watching!! A great end on this week! ;)

It shows that even though Y-H has been abroad they have been able to practise more!! They really are cute together, kinda Big brother-little sister kinda feeling (^__^;;)



Krystal & Lee Dong-Hoon - Livin' la vida loca
All their lifts are so cool!! It was a pity that they missed a bit at the end still very good round!!
