Korea's talented siblings released a new track a few days ago.
They never fail to surprise with great songs!!!
This song just like the previous ones are all written by Chanhyuk
I was able to find the song with Eng lyrics.

I was planning to translate it myself, but I felt lazy ^^

Anyway.... ENJOY!! ^^

악뮤 - 눈,코,입

Thinking of TaeYang's original version and the lyrics, this is totally different!
It even sounds bright! And you can feel the sense of youth from the feeling AKMU shows off.
Also, they have totally turned this into a AKMU styled song! I think it's awesome, and I love this version!!!

얼음들 (가사)

I kinda fulfilled my promise, I have done an attempt to translate the lyrics for Akdong Musician's song 얼음들 (Melted).

It's was a bit tricky because the words in English doesn't really convey the Korean ones.

Anyway, it's okay I think, I have tried to make it whole and not word by word.

Example of translation: 따뜻한 = means warm, as in mild kind of warm, not hot. Therefore, I think both mild and warm can be used.

나올텐데 / Na ol ten de = means to come out/appear/brought out. But for the context of the song I have just translated, there would be a more mild/warmer song,

And, 그렇게 gukeoke/kureoke= the 그 ku/gu refers to "that", however as it's the ice it refers to I have just used "the", why is the ice so cold.

*If you want to use it, ask for permission and do not forget to cred!

악동뮤지션 데뷔 앨범

Korea's loved siblings are finally releasing their debut album.
It's titled Play and contains 11 tracks, and all songs are made by Chan Hyuk!! He's only 17 but he is a great composer.
However although it's great with new tracks, there were some songs like Crescendo and 다리꼬지마 that I miss on this album!
I guess you cannot have it all!? Also it's nice to see this kind of music in Korea and under YG Entertainment! Great debut album!!

1. GIVE LOVE
스마트폰 게임에서 필요한 하트에 쓰여 있는 Give Love에서 영감을 받은 곡. 악동뮤지션만의 독특한 발상이 탄생시킨 이 곡에서 악동뮤지션은 자신의 맘에서 자라는 사랑을 다 줘도 받아주지 않는 그녀를 위해 줄 사랑을 빌려달라고 이야기한다. 경쾌하고 캣치한 사비가 돋보이며, 곡 사이의 보컬 임팩트가 노래의 재미를 더해준다.

2. 200%
경쾌하고 리드미컬한 멜로디의 사랑 노래로 밤새 고백을 준비했지만, 막상 그 사람 앞에선 떨려 아무 말도 못 하는 내용의 가사를 악동뮤지션만의 감성으로 위트있게 풀어냈다. 통통 튀는 드럼의 킥 사운드를 주축으로 그루브 있는 기타 리듬, 일렉 피아노, 펑키함을 돋보이게 하는 브라스가 가미되었다. 악동뮤지션만의 쫀득한 포크팝 멜로디와 센스있는 랩핑이 돋보인다.

웅장한 피아노 intro가 무게를 더하고 곧이어 나오는 감미로운 피아노와 스트링 섹션, 리드미컬한 기타 선율이 아름답다. 사비에서 이수현 양과 이찬혁 군의 폭풍 가창력이 돋보이며 긴여운이 느껴지는 멜로디로 구성되어 있다.‘얼음은 왜 차가우냐고’ 묻는 듯 어린아이의 순수하고 천진난만한 호기심이 느껴지는 곡 .

4. 지하철에서
잔잔한 분위기의 멜로디로 각기 다른 사람들이 지하철에 모여 덜컹거리는 모습을 리얼하고 재미있게 노래한다. 세상을 지하철에 빗대 노래하며 우리가 쉽게 마주치는 장소를 세상의 축소판으로 묘사했다.

5. 가르마
아무런 주목도 받지 못했던 여자가 어느 날 가르마를 바꾸자 예뻐졌다. 그녀를 몰랐던 남자들이 다가오는 것은 물론 그녀를 따라 하는 여자들까지 생기는 가사 내용은 10대들이라면 한 번쯤 상상했을 법하다. 펑키하고 그루비한 드럼과 기타, 일렉 피아노가 귀를 달콤하게 간지러워 주듯 사랑스러운 멜로디가 돋보이는 곡.

6. 인공잔디
인공잔디는 진짜 잔디가 부럽다. 하고 싶은 것을 하며 사는 모습을 인공 잔디에 비유하며 노래한 곡. 1절에서는 인공잔디와 비교하며 다른 사람들이 보기에 가짜가 좋아 보이지만 그들만이 느끼는 마음을 표현했고, 2절에선 진짜 잔디와 비교하며 진짜를 하며 즐거워하는 모습을 노래했다. 경쾌한 드럼비트에 이수현 양의 파워풀한 보이스를 느낄 수 있다.

7. 안녕
한 왕따의 이야기. 분노와 보복의 감정이 아닌 그들이 느끼는 외로움이 느껴지는 곡. 서정적인 기타 리프와 재즈 드럼이 가미되고 이수현 양의 잔잔한 저음이 합쳐져 완벽한 하모니를 이루어낸다. 악동뮤지션은 이 곡을 통해 많은 친구가 그들의 마음을 이해하고 서로 사랑하는 마음을 가졌으면 좋겠다는 감정을 담아내고자 했다.

8. 작은별
밤하늘의 빛나는 별이 실제로 인공위성일지도 모르지만 언제나 빛나는 별처럼 빛나고 싶은 소망을 노래했다. 캣치한 사비와 전진하는 락비트에선 감동이 밀려온다.

9. 길이나
동성과 마주치면 기 싸움, 이성과 마주치면 도도한 척이라고 이야기하며 길에서 마주치는 흔한 사람들의 눈빛을 재미있게 풀어냈다. 이수현 양과 이찬혁 군이 서로 주고받는 멜로디가 잘 어우러지며 환상적인 호흡이 돋보이는 상큼한 곡이다.

10. 소재
작곡 소재가 다 떨어졌다. 이것을 소재로 사용하면서 신나는 드럼비트, 경쾌한 신스 사운드를 주축으로 한 시원한 느낌이 나는 댄스곡을 탄생시켰다. 가사와 랩이 잘 어우러진 곡으로 자신의 이야기를 만들지 못하는 친구들을 위한 희망적인 메시지가 느껴진다.

11. GALAXY
중독성 있는 코드 진행과 캣치한 가사가 어우러져 착 달라붙는 달콤한 멜로디 라인이 돋보이는 곡.‘갤럭시 너 혹시’를 부르는 부분은 갤럭시를 부르는 것이 아니라 운율을 맞춘 부분으로서 그들의 재치를 다시 한 번 엿볼 수 있다.

So it came down to the two, Bang Yedam and Akdong Musician.
I like both and I hoped for them to battle, however it must have had been hard for both "teams" consider they have collaborated during this season of K-popstar.
Both did very well and it was a CLOSE victory.

Akdong Musician performed Hanson's “MmmBop” and Toy's “Hot Goodbye“, while Bang Yedam sang Tamia's “Officially Missing You” and Culture Club's “Karma Chameleon“.

YeDam, despite his very young age he did a very well speech after the announcement. His parents looked proud! :)

No matter what I think both will be signed and make it big!!
Also, will SM sign any this time? To me both Akdong and Yedam should belong to either JYP or YG, becuase of their kind of music. To me, there are not enough successful solo artists in SM these days, to me SM put more into groups. (I know BoA and KangTa belong to SM, but to me it's not enough) And I wouldn't want to see either Akdong or Yedam to be put in a group!

The song is called 다리 꼬지 마 (Don't cross your legs)
The first song is Miss A's Breathe, however in the middle JYP ask them to sing their own composed song instead ;)

If you are interested in South Korea, I guess you have heard of this duo..
if not.. it's time to find out about them.

These two are siblings and are contests in KPOPSTAR Season 2.
There names are Chan-Hyuk LEE and Soo-Hyun LEE, they are 16 and 13 years old (17, 14 Korean age).
They have lived in Mongolia but are back in Korea. They are currently living with their grandma as their parents are still in Mongolia. Also they are being home schooled, which might not be too common in Korea. But since they have been away from Korea for a long time it's good for them.

Anyway back to what's important... their singing skills!!
The brother Chan Hyuk has composed 48 songs and lil-sis has remembered the lyrics.
To me their songs are cute and funny, also they have great potential to make it BIG, no matter if they win this or not they will still be picked up by a record label that's for sure!!
