화사 (Hwa Sa) - Orbit

The second fave drama OST this year must belong to Hwasa and the song Orbit.
It comes from the same drama I mentioned the other day - The King Eternal Monarch.

Enjoy!

Fuller house

Raise you hand if you grew up watching this?
I did!!!

This was truly a show most followed at the time.
I cannot believe it is coming back and most of the cast are the original.
Kinda sad we won't see MKA Olsen but that's life.

Worst ending EVER

I had read about it before I watch it, but I have to agree.
The ending to How I Met Your Mother sucked!!
I have watched the series on and off but still you get the picture. However that was not the end I expected. It kinda felt like a April Fools. I cannot believe that is how it ended!
I wonder what they were thinking when writing the final story. Did they actually think it'd be a perfect end to 9 seasons!?

Robin and Barney's ending... really, c'mon!?
Ted's ending...Seriously?!
Lily and Marshall...fair enough.

Oh well.. it's just tv. And I'm not the biggest fan but I still liked it and this was N O T what I expected at all!!

I give the final episode a F or half a star!!!

The Musketeers

I have found a new tv series, BBC's The Musketeers. The series is based on the characters in Alexandre Dumas's The Three Musketeers. Ten episodes have been produced in Series One which aired from January to March 2014 in the UK. It started in the beginning of March in Sweden, we have aired 2 episodes so far.
It's said that the series has been commissioned for a second series!! ^^
As I have always liked the "story" Three musketeers this felt like a MUST see show and so far, I'm very pleased ^^
Also this is a BBC production, so there's no wonder it has been a hit!! ^^

Plot
Set in 1630 Paris, D'Artagnan, Athos, Aramis, and Porthos are a group of highly trained musketeers who fight to protect the King and Country. The Musketeers shows Athos, Aramis, Porthos, and D'Artagnan as 'The Musketeers', commanded by Captain Treville.

Cast
Luke Pasqualino as D'Artagnan
Tom Burke as Athos
Santiago Cabrera as Aramis
Peter Capaldi as Cardinal Armand Richelieu
Howard Charles as Porthos
Alexandra Dowling as Queen Anne
Ryan Gage as King Louis XIII
Tamla Kari as Constance Bonacieux
Maimie McCoy as Milady de Winter
Hugo Speer as Captain Treville

Sad moment

One of my fave US tv dramas has been THE GLADES.
And for some reason I have totally missed that it has been cancelled. I had been looking forward to a 5th season, however there will be no such! (T_T)
I mean season four ended with such a cliffhanger, like a season finally should be. But it also made me sad because it feels like it ended without a proper end!! Something is missing!
It's kinda sad and annoying!!!!

This is why I prefer Asian series, although some ends really sucks, there is an end to it!!

Ørnen: En krimi-odyssé

I posted the theme song for this drama the other day, as I said then, I have started to re-watch this drama series.
I really like it. I still wonder why I don't remember more of it while watching ^^
Anyway I like the stories and how they mixed so many things and still it's easy to follow. Also they travel a lot - Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Russia, Germany...
But I shouldn't be surprised right?! I mean Danish dramas as to 90% always awesome ^^

★★★★★

Broen/Bron 2

Season 2 of the mega hit drama, Broen/Bron is back with a second season.
If you followed the first you can sorta expect what to see.
It's fun to have a second season, and this is a really good collaboration between Denmark and Sweden.
Also it's the same main cast. Kim Bodina is one of my fave Danish actors, but the age starts to show ^^
The first episode just aired and I'm excited to follow this season as well!!
Just like last season they, Danish and Swedish broadcasting will try to show it simultaneously as it otherwise will spoil a lot. Also most people in Denmark and in Skåne, Sweden have both Danish and Swedish TV and could therefore watch the series either way which also is a small spoiler alert.

Story
A rusty old coaster en route in the Öresund sound suddenly veers off course and heads for the Øresund Bridge. The Maritime Administration in Malmö calls the coaster, but gets no answer. The operator’s call echoes on the ship’s empty bridge. The crew is nowhere to be seen.

Meanwhile, the coaster, making good speed, rams the concrete foundations laid out to protect the bridge. The ship is empty – or so it is believed until five people are found chained, cold and exhausted below deck. Saga Norén (Sofia Helin) from Malmö CID arrives at the scene and starts working on finding the identities of the five people.

The unknown victims, of whom three are Swedish and two Danish, are brought to a hospital in Malmö. Without hesitation, Saga contacts her Danish colleague, Martin Rohde and their new investigation begins.

Cast
Sofia Helin as Saga Norén, the lead homicide detective in Malmö
Kim Bodnia as Martin Rohde, the lead homicide detective in Copenhagen
Dag Malmberg as Hans Petterson, a senior criminal police officer in Malmö
Sarah Boberg as Lillian, a senior criminal police officer in Copenhagen

Waiting impatiently

I'm waiting impatiently for my dvd's to arrive.
It took amazon quite some time but they have arrived to my destination in the US.
Have no idea why it took them one and a half day to get it from a location that's a 30 min drive.
Maybe someone crawled with the package!? ^^

Anyway I'm excited to get these two. One is my fave US tv series - The Glades, and the other is one I used to watch when I was in my teens - 8 Simple rules ^^

I'm excited and hope they will soon arrive at my house in Sweden!

Den som dræber - Fortidens skygge

I found this movie when I was in Denmark, I followed the tv-drama and loved it!! So I guess I just had to buy it since it doesn't seem it will be out in Sweden for a while. And when it will be released I'll probably be in Canada!!
What can I say, I'll miss them all...
And it was fun to see Simon Kvamm, I used to watch him alot during my junior-high and high school days, however I'm more used to his comical acts and singing!!
The movie was different from what I expected, not as dark as the tv-drama and a surprising end.
Still happy I saw it, guess it'd be much more awesome to see it at the cinema, but good enough with a big tv ^^

I wish it wasn't the end... but that's how it is!!

McLeod's Daughters

One of my fave tv-dramas all time is the Australian drama called McLeod's daughters.
The reason why I like it so much is the set and the story. It has a lot of drama just like most series however the set makes it so different from everything else we are used to watch.
But I have to say, I kinda stopped following the show after season 6 since most of the original cast all left the series. My fave was characters were Claire, Tess, Nick, Alex...Becky and Dave.

Story
It tells the story of two sisters, Claire and Tess McLeod, who are reunited after they inherit the family farm. Brought together after 20 years apart they put together an all-female workforce and commit to life at Drovers Run in South Australia, 180 km from the nearest town and 400 km from the city.

Cast
Lisa Chappell as Claire Louise McLeod
Bridie Carter as Teresa "Tess" Charlotte McLeod
Rachael Carpani as Jodi Fountain McLeod
Jessica Napier as Becky Howard
Aaron Jeffery as Alexander "Alex" Marion Ryan

Sonia Todd as Margaret "Meg" Fountain
Michala Banas as Kate Manfredi
Matt Passmore as Marcus Turner
Marshall Napier as Harry Ryan
John Jarratt as Terry Dodge

Den som dræber

Last night they started to air the "new" Danish tv drama on Swedish television called "Den som dræber". (Swedish: Den som dräper, English: Those who kill)
The series is created by Elsebeth Egholm and Stefan Jaworski.

PLOT The series is about the hunt for a type of violent criminal who has yet to strike in Denmark, and who is surrounded by fear and mystique.

The series is starring Swedish actor Jakob Cedergren as Thomas Schaeffer, Laura Bach
as Katrine Ries Jensen and Lars Mikkelsen as Magnus Bisgaard.

The series was first broadcasted on Danish TV2 in March 2011 and now it's our turn in Sweden to follow the first season of this new drama, total of 10 episodes.
When it first was aired in Denmark it made the headlines because it's too rough and violent and it aired at 8pm, prime time, on TV2. Other Danish tv channels said it features "sexual behaviour" and "explicit violence" which would not be able broadcast on their channels at such early time.

I have to agree it's violent but the first ep was GREAT, this will be my new drama series to follow!

Trailer EP01 (in Danish)

A movie of the drama was released in Denmark on Sep 8 2011.
I sooooo want to see it!!

Here is one of many trailers...
