Wrapping time

This video went viral last year!
I was like.. huh? Why is this such a big thing.
But then I saw the paper and thought.. Ahh.. I have seen this so many times before!
This is the way Takashimaya Department Store in Japan wrap their gifts, I saw it first time in 2008.
Anyway, it's a fun way to wrap gifts and you still need around the same amount tape.

And although Christmas is over, I know.. not stupid but yeah it's late for this year.
I bet you have other occasions where you need to gift rap some pressies ^^

This Is London

Alistair is back with a new song!!
I'm looking forward to his new album.

Children and names

We are surrounded by friends with babies or friends who are having babies and it's fun to hear the names they are thinking of. The other day before sleeping we talked about the future and what we'd name our babies. I was like.. it has to fit both Swedish, English and Korean!!! In other words it won't be easy.

Then we started to make up funny names.
His surname is Kim, and in Korean you say the last name first so...
It all starts with Kim.

1. 김밥 (Kim Bap)
He said: Why not have a boy called Bob in English/Swedish. Then we will name it "Bap / 밥", which means Rice in English. And KimBap in Korean is a seaweed roll (similar to a sushi roll)!

2. 김치국 (Kim Chi Guk)
Begin again with Kim, then adding Chi and Guk.
KimChi I guess most of you know, then Guk is like a soup.. so in other words the name would be.. Kimchi Soup!

3. 김소라 (Kim So Ra)
I said I like to make a twist, I like the name Sora and in Japanese it means sky.
Korean name for Sky is Haneul 하늘 but i find it boring.. Sora is much cuter.
He looked at me like he'd kill me and he said OVER my dead body that my "Korean child" will have a Japanese name XD
I was like.. Not my fault the Japanese word is better..hahahaha

4.김윤이 (Kim Yoon I)
I think 윤 or Yun/Yoon is cute but he said only Kim Yoon is weird.
So I was like Yoon..ehm... then I said why not Yoon-i. The the English/Swedish name would be June. (in Swedish we say Juni)
He was like, as in the month? Me: yeah why not? He was like.. why don't you just call the baby "6th month" then..?
In Korean you don't say January, February, March.. you say First Month, Second Month etc.
I replied and said that you can call the baby April, May or June if it's a girl... Sounds better in English than Swedish but totally possible.

5. 김바보 (Kim Ba Bo)
I sometimes tease my darling and call him stupid. So he said.. why not call the baby Babo in Korean... I was like.. so Idiot in Swedish then?
바보/Babo means stupid/idiot.. but in a cute way.

6. 김미오 (Kim Mi O)
I said I like the name "Mio" for a girl.. he looked at me and said.. as in the Swedish furniture store Mio? Yeah I said.. it's cute
Then he was like: they why not call her Apoteket (Pharmacy in Swedish)
I burst into laughter, it's totally different! You cannot compare those.. Mio is just a name..!!!!!! And it's common here.
Then he also added, Mio also almost sounds like Miwo 미워 in Korean which means Scary.
He was like, the child will be bullied!

I can say that the list became very long.. and it's lucky we not planning to have a baby for quite some time! Otherwise I'd feel sad for the baby's name already XD

Did you eat a lot during this weekend?
We did, we had a mix of vegetarian and meat dishes!
Everything was DELICIOUS!!

My uncle also bought an extremely delicious but expensive ham!!
As it was so tasty all I can say is... WORTH every penny ^^

I'm back

I took a few days of writing.. as I felt I needed it.
How was your Christmas? (If you celebrate it)
I had a fabulous one with family, darling and relatives.
This is our three and all of our pressies ^^

Cannot believe it's one year until the next one..
Also, it felt kinda weird to be home as I was in Japan the year before.
And for the last couple of years I have been half at home and half abroad during Christmas.
Still I have to say, it's ALWAYS great to be home ^^

All Of The Stars

A very nice ballad!!!
I have tried to go through lots of his songs lately and so far, this is one of my absolute fave songs!!

Lets Roll

I got an early Christmas gift from my PT :D
I got a foam roller!
This bear fits well, as I usually tell him I hit my sad panda mode!
So nice of him, I'm gonna search on YT to find out how to get the most out of it ^^

It's time to roll!!

On Saturday we went to my parents for Julfika. Aka drinking coffee/tea and eating delicious pastries!
My mum had baked them all and on top of that they had also bought a princess cake!
Mum had also made small sandwiches, a true effort.
I wish I could have this kinds of foods every day! But then again... not good for my weight..haha

Mum and dad had also invited my grandma, aunt and families on my dad's side.

Soon it's CHRISTMAS!!!

Tänd ett ljus

This is one of my absolute fave Swedish Christmas songs!
This is a newer version that Ison and Fille presented during the Swedish show Så mycket bättre..
Only a few days left now until Christmas!

Yesterday for dinner I had these!
They were called 2012 on the menu.
It's sushi rolls with Mango and salmon, this dish was SUPER delicious!!
I'm so happy with my choice ^^

Last Monday during my PT session I did 375 different kind of squats and 75 push press all with 20kgs weights and a stomach tabata... I have to say, I'm feeling proud as I beat the record!
However my week didn't end there, I had more sessions, and yes... my body aches!
Tomorrow I have another session! The final before Christmas!!

I have to thank my Finnish colleague who was kind enough to get me these!!
If you haven't tried these, you are so missing out on deliciousness!!

When in Denmark

Although you can find a Danish all over the country, I usually go to my fave place, Lagkagehuset.
As I visited Aarhus the other day I came to a surprise, they only had ONE this cafe chain in the city!
And I was lucky enough to get the final Danish of the day!
I have to say, in Copenhagen they have so much more, but I was happy to get this one, it was SOOOO delicious, way better than anywhere else in the world!

Danish surely knows their pastries!

Pulled pork take out

I bought this the other week from a place close to the office.
I have to say, service there sucks! But the food is awesome!
This time around I got their pulled pork, this is the normal portion, to me this is enough for two people!!
It was so delicious, lots of meat, veggies and the pinapple sauce was a great combo!!

A few days later I bought the XL portion for my darling, he had food for two days!!haha
I thought, since he can eat A LOT, that he'd finish it in one meal. However not this time!
It's so worth the money and so awesome!!
I'm gonna try this one again!!

Chicken bibimbap

We found our new bibimbap place just around the corner!
This time I tried the chicken. To my surprise they have used chicken skewer.
This was way too much food again, luckily I have my darling who won't any food go to waste!

Happy Dinner!

Christmas Spirit

I have passed different kinds of Christmas trees, one was in the city and one in our house.
It's one and a half week left until Christmas, and I don't have the feeling yet, but it's coming... I hope!!

These are anyway very nice to look at :)

일욜의 떡볶이식사

On Sunday evening we had this for lunch/dinner... we woke up late so we had no lunch therefore I'm not sure what to call it but we had it at dinner time.
Instead of fish cake I used up all the sausages we had left over ^^
It turned out really nice!!
Both my darling and I we LOVE ddeokbokki, so it was a great way to end our Sunday!!
This ddeok too was way better than the one we usually get!!

Happiness in a pan ^^

Gone for the day

Today I take a daytrip for work down South to lovely Denmark!
I hope everything goes fine!!
It's only for the day but I hope to get some free time to see a little of the city!!

Gekikara Ramen

Somehow I managed my darling to go and eat Ramen, and not instant one!!
We went to Kimama ramen, I haven't set my foot there for a few years, but it all looked the same.
I took their Gekikara Ramen. It was just like I remembered to be, but not as spicy as I wished.
But in all..Delicious!
I'm so looking forward to go to Japan next year and have even better ones..hehe

Lunch @ Vapiano

We had lunch at Vapiano the other day, for the first time ever I decided to try their pizza.
I tried their Tropicale, I was happy it had fresh pinapple! And the crust was nice. But in all, just a pizza, nothing special. My darling had pasta and it was way more delicious, as I tried it I kinda regret my choice. LOL
But I'm still happy I tried it!!
Still, if going back to Vapiano, I'll keep myself to Pasta!! ^^

Japanese is the cutest no?

Take a look at this.. the English vs Korean vs Japanese pronunciation of words.
It's hilarious!

Japanese is so cute..hahahah

Back in the days!!

I saw this on YT the other day...!!
It feels like decades ago, and's quite old, still not so old.
I mean, think about it... I'm really old now compare to those days!!
So fun to see.

Take out lunch with mum

I had lunch with mum the other day, but the place was so crowded we decided to take it home and eat at my place. We went to Cafe Blåbär.
We had the Parmesan cheese chicken and three different salads!!
The portions are huge at this place so instead of two portions I'd say this is food for three.
It was a nice lunch, mum had never been there so it was fun to show her a new place!!

Deliciousness in a box! ^^

I choose Skagen mix, beetroot salad and tabbouleh!

Bibimbap take out

Continuing the weekend of food!

On Saturday after a long day of this and that we had another take away.
We tried this "new place", for us. I had been there once around 6 years ago but...
The places was jammed, lots of people had ordered take out. But lucky for us, most had ordered sushi, we went for Bibimbap!! But as the sushi was so popular, I want to try their sushi next time ^^

This one cost 100 SEK, and so worth it, the portions were huge!!
The largest bibimbap take out I'd have I think!! ^^
Totally satisfied!!

Flower is back with a new song! This is the ending title for the TV Anime called 金田一少年の事件簿R(リターンズ). I have missed them and wondered when a new song will be out!
To me nothing can beat the "Aki Kaze no Answer", but I like the sound of this and as usual it's nice to see them dance!

Friday take away

Last Friday after many back and forth's I decided on Indian,, I felt sad for my darling as I couldn't make up my mind.
Anyway, he was kind enough to go and get the take away.
This time I tried the Chicken Sizlar and Garlic Nan, it was so delicious. AS always!!
I love Indian food!! We have 4 Indian places around our house, but we always go to the same one!

I want to eat this soon again!!
