アンダーウェア / Atelier

Japanese web television drama developed by Fuji Television for Netflix. I found it while browsing around, I got hooked! I love that Netflix has more shows and movies that are Asian. I hope more people will see them and get the feeling that Asian dramas are awesome! I love how Kiritani Mirei is called "ugly" and unfashionable considering she is a model and always wear nice clothes..haha
The drama shows a lot of aspects of life and reminds you of a lot of thing you might go through, both men and women!

上流階級〜富久丸百貨店外商部〜

I saw this SP the other day, I have to say, Japan and Korea or just Asia in general can sure make different kinds of dramas. Although I felt like it was a modern Selfridges it still had it's own charm. And it was very Japanese ^^
I saw it mainly because of the main actors, Takeuchi Yuko and Saito Takumi, it was a fun combination. I liked Yuko-san in short hair ^^ But well.. the drama is typical Japanese and not as interesting as I thought, it was ok to watch but nothing special.
★★

Title: 上流階級〜富久丸百貨店外商部〜 / Jouryuu Kaikyuu ~ Fukumaru Hyakkaten Gaishoubu
Air Date: 16 January 2015, From 9.00 pm
Broadcast network: Fuji Tv

Synopsis:
At the venerable Fukumaru Department Store in Kobe, Samejima Shizuo (Takeuchi Yuko), who worked her way up from a part-timer, has been through a lot and built a career at the western confectionery department. She became a full-fledged employee following the success of a renewal plan of the store, which she handled besides western confectionery. However, she is assigned to the all-male external sales department as the only female in a sudden personnel transfer and also because it is the intention of the managing director, Benikura Eiichi (Katsura Bunshi). In truth, various members are being assembled so that the store can link up with the customers of the well-connected, charismatic Hatori Shiro (Kusakari Masao), in preparation for his retirement. Shizuo’s husband, Kanno Hisaomi (Tanaka Tetsushi), who works for the same department store group and currently lives in Tokyo, understands her role. Shizuo has been successful in her work all this while. Although she is disconcerted and out of her element in the world of external sales, she goes to customer places with the aim of completing deals. An external sales staff takes care of customers every need – from jewellery, cosmetics, wedding favours to home improvements. It is a completely different world from the customers Shizuo has played host to so far. Furthermore, these “upper class” people who appear snobbish on the surface, have families, setbacks, sorrow, glamour and dreams too. Shizuo pushes ahead with the network of contacts that she had cultivated at the western confectionery department and store development section as well as her own self-motivation. There are two persons who give her a hard time at every turn. Ochi Takashi (Takenaka Naoto), her superior and the section head of the department, and Masuya Shuhei (Saito Takumi), her slightly “flawed” junior and rival. Masuya, who comes from a wealthy Nara family, joined the department store after graduating from a famous private university. He is, in a sense, an elite. Even after his transfer to the external sales department, he fully uses his family connections and meets his quota without effort. Shizuo ends up finding out his secret on the way back from a friend’s wedding ceremony. She struggles with her quota and demanding customer requests every day. There are all sorts of customers like the graceful, gentle wife of a distinguished man from an old samurai family, Kurahashi Kazuko (Asano Yuko); the nagging wife of a hospital director, Tsuru Akiko (Takahata Atsuko); a trouble making customer, Shimada Goro (Watanabe Ikkei); and a Thai businessman. In the midst of this, Shizuo secures Mitani Juri (Matsuyuki Yasuko), who has moved from Tokyo, as a new customer. However, she causes some trouble for Juri. While Shizuo is in despair, she hears news of the sudden death of her Thai businessman customer. He has left word of an outrageous wish for his funeral arrangements...

The summer season is continuing and I haven't had a Japanese drama until now, I have two even... Hero and this one! I'd say it's mainly because of two actors - Ueto Aya and Saito Takumi.
I saw the first episode a few days ago, and well... already now it's twisted. I wonder how the drama will be... good or not? Oh well... I'm excited! To be honest, I think this is quite common in Japan, and all over the world, believe it or not!!

One day, Rikako is with one of her numerous lovers, a young man by the name of Hagiwara Tomoya, but while in the supermarket's carpark, a high school student, Kentaro, tries to rob them. The police shows up and Rikako needs to cover up the fact that she was having an illicit rendezvous with Tomoya. Spying Sawa leaving the supermarket for home, Rikako quickly pulls Sawa to her side and claims that she was actually at the supermarket with Tomoya to meet up with Sawa, as the three of them had pre-arranged to have coffee together. Sensing Rikako's desperation, Sawa decided to fall in with the act, and backs up Rikako's story. Kuryu Kohei's returning!!

I found out something amazing yesterday, in the drama world ^^
KimuTaku's HERO, from 2001, is doing a comeback! It's the first time in 7 years Kimutaku will play this role!
However this time it will be without Matsu Takako. Instead we'll see Kitagawa Keiko! It's their first time to act together since Tsuki no Koibito from 2010.
Some old cast members like Kohinata Fumiyo, Yashima Norito, Kadono Takuzo, and Tanaka Yoji, will also return to this new season! Other new cast members are Sugimoto Tetta, Hamada Gaku, Yoshida Yo, and Matsushige Yutaka.

For all of u who have missed out on this drama... well... "HERO" is about an, well, unconventional prosecutor named "Kuryu Kohei" of the Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office, Jousai branch. The drama was also adapted into a movie in 2007.

The new season of "HERO" will begin airing sometime in July on Fuji TV (Monday's 9:00 pm).

死神くん

There's something about Riida and his non-human roles ^^
He acts so well and for some reason these kinds of roles suits him very well.
Although all roles he has had, human or non-human, so far has been great!
I look forward to see this drama. It's still a few weeks left but the hype has already begun! Also this should mean that Arashi will release a new single!! *woop woop*
Countdown April 18!!

Story
Shinigami-kun (Ohno Satoshi), alias grim reaper #413, is a rookie who pronounces the death of those scheduled to die and brings souls to the nether world. He would appear with the signature phrase “Congratulations! I’m here to call on you” although it is hard to say how this can be a happy occasion, and watch over the dying. To a grim reaper, persuading people attempting to commit suicide and preventing unforeseen deaths is also an important task. But because #413 is new to this grim reaper work, he has a tendency to lean towards humans in his judgments, break the rules of the nether world and get reprimanded by his superior.

Tokyo Skytree in the colour of Chocolate

it's said that Tokyo Sky Tree now will shine in the colour of Chocolate and LOVE ^^
Cast of drama Shitsuren Chocolatier were present when this was announced.
I already found various pics online.
I wish I could see it myself, because Skytree is gray and boring by itself. So I like it with colour ^^

My fave colours are purple and the pink!

This is one of my fave EXILE songs, I do have many but well.. among my top 10 as I guess, I'll share more and I have already shared some ^^
This was the title track for the Japanese drama TOKYO DOGS back in late 2009, starring Oguri Shun.
