[Mini Album] KARD - Hola Hola

As said I was so excited for their official debut and album. Here it is - Hola Hola.
Besides from the 3 singles we got the title track Hola Hola plus 2 more tracks.
I think this is a very good debut album and as said I love this group is co-ed! I miss co-ed groups, when I was young I followed groups such as S-Club 7, Steps, Hear'say etc.
My fave song on this album is already released Don't recall. Second is..hmm... which one should I choose? Hola Hola I think..hehe

with LOVE

Kanayan is back with a full fifth length album titled with LOVE.
I still haven't found a song that top last year's hit Sayonara. But while listening to this album I find some songs that attracts my ears immediately.
My fave song besides the one mentioned above is track 7 - Gomen ne. I also think track 9 - Abracadabra, track 10 - Love & Joy and track 11 - 25 are catchy. I'd say that 25 reminds me of some kind of movie soundtrack ^^ I also think Stand Up will be awesome to listen to at one of her lives! It gives a great big crowd vibe!!
In all I'm happy with this album!! I think she has worked hard to produce this album!!! My fave album by Kanayan ^^

Cross The Border

I made a review of her Korean debut album the other day, I really like this album, and I looked through my archive but was unable to see that I had made a review for this one. So I decided to make one for her latest full length Japanese album. She has a powerful voice and a sound that attracts, still I'm not sure on who she reminds me of.
Oh well, she sure delivers!! The album comes with a mix of songs and she shows the possibility to go even further!!
My fave songs are Sorry, Heart Theater, If You Want, Earth-Aholic, Song on my guitar, and Possibility.

Albion Sky

First time I saw Alistair was in Fame Academy, which aired on BBC 10 years ago.
I have been following him on and off ever since. Now he's releasing a new album and for some reason I decided to re-listen his 2nd album that was released two years ago.
I really wish he'd be even more known, because his music is so awesome!!!
My fave song from this album has and will always be "Always No. 1". I hope I can get a cd copy of the new cd as well, although it's old fashion, I like the cds ^^
Back to this album....This album contains a mix of songs and lyrics, I love Alistair's way of expressing the lyrics, there's a certain harmony to them!! As I listen I want to jump onto the sofa and just have the music on HIGH volume and don't do anything else but to listen!!! Pure awesomeness, such a progress since his debut album.

Colours

This album was actually released back in 2012, and I have only heard the singles until now.
I found the cd on sale (US$8) so I felt, why not!? ^^
And Danish music is never disappointing that's for sure. I like this hmm...teenage boy sound ^^
I guess it's because I like Christopher's voice! To think about it, it'd be awesome if he was promoted in Sweden and other countries too, thinking of the music that people like, can I call it mainstream!? Then well... he fits right in!
My fave songs on this album is Set the Record Straight, Against the Odds, Unbreakable, and Lots of Downs. ^^

Rediscovered

This album came out in late 2012. It was said that this album would bridge the gap between fans who‘ve stayed true for all these years, to the people who are discovering a1 for the very first time.
I kinda agree, still since I have heard them before I cannot really tell the difference ^^
I mean compare to the 2010 album there are differences but still I can see a1 shining through.
And to be honest, is the new concept better than the old? I donno ^^;;

Waiting for daylight

a1 was a band I used to listen to back in elementary/middle school. And one day they disappeared.
However it seems the did a comeback but I didn't noticed it. Maybe it was because I was busy with other things. Also it seems their main audience was in Norway. Oh well...
I have now taken time to go back in time and listen. And I'm happily surprised, despite only being 3 members, I don't feel much difference. Then again Paul wasn't my "fave" member anyway...haha
Most songs reminds of the old a1 so it doesn't really feel like they have been gone that long ^^

I'll do a review for their other album too that was released in 2012 ^^
But that will come later...

The album is finally here. Besides from previously released singles, I can only find three new songs.
Oh well, it's a debut album, and they haven't released one since their debut in 2011.
It's nice to have all songs on one cd, and it's totally the female EXILE ^^
I hope to hear more from them in the future.

テゴマスの青春

Tegomassu is "finally" back with a new album they have decided to name "Tegomassu no seishun", meaning Youth of Tegomassu.
It feels like it was ages since I listened to them. It sorta died out in 2009, after they or JE decided not to let them come to Sweden because of the bird flu.
Still it feels like I cannot forget them, I guess it's because I was there when they debuted back in 2006! ^^
Back to the album, it's a typical Tegomassu album. No surprises when it comes to their music style.
My fave song I'd say is タイムマシン. The moment I heard the intro I knew I'd like it ^^
I also like 少年~Re:Story~, innocence, ヒカリ, and きれいごと.

ココロノグルリ

As I said, because of his popular dramas last year I have taken more shine into him.
And in Japan I was lucky to find this album. I thought it was gonna be easier but sadly not.
Not sure if it's because he's not so popular when it comes to music and therefore it's hard to find.
OR because of his recent popularity they are sold out. Anyway, I found it by chance at Book Off close to Shinjuku station!
I like this cd a lot, there something calm about Takumi-san's voice!
I just wish this album would have had included the singles prior to this album!!
Oh well, you cannot have it all right? ^^
Next time I go to Japan, I hope I can have time to try to find the other cds (singles)

U 〜BEST of BEST〜

This album was released back in late 2012, but as I was busy with finals at the time in Canada then other things came up, I haven't had time until now to get this album!
I discovered Yuya-kun back in 2010, I think I have mentioned that before.
Anyway, this album has two discs, one with ballads and one with more up-tempo/dance songs.
I love this album and I miss him. He only released a single in 2013 and from the news I have read it seems he's doing more stage plays. Oh well.. to listen to his already released cds is not bad either ^^

This mini album was released in the beginning of December 2013.
Younha is one of my fave artists in Korea and as always, she delivers!
The album has a good mix of various music styles and lyrics! It's great!

Lee Seung Chul released his latest album back in the summer, it was also the only album I bought in Korea this year!! Surprise surprise..!
Oh well, he might not be you and a kpop star but he sure can sing and he has done some awesome songs over the years.
So here's his 11th album - My Love!
And oh boy, this time he has had a great team to create this wonderful music, he has assembled a true world-class team that includes Nickelback drummer Daniel Adair and mixing engineer Steve Hodge

"Who, When, Why"

I finally got the time to listen to this album!! I have anticipated and have had it for a few weeks but I have been too busy until now.
Well, JaeJoong is finally releasing a solo album! I'm happily surprised. And the title really reflects the album well... JJ said he named it WWW because of the "Who, When, Why" questions asked when a relationship ends.
The album includes various kinds of songs and JJ has written most the lyrics.
Listening to this reminds me of the excitement I had when DBSK released solo song... back in the days where they were 5 members. Even though we say "keep the faith", today that feels faraway.
Anyway, back to the album, I like the mix of songs, it really shows how much potential JJ has and what a great artist he is.

You and me

This is maybe the most anticipated release this year in my eyes.
I felt empty the day Westlife split up, and now the world looks brighter..haha
I mean Shane has such a great voice. It would have had been a waste if he didn't sing!
So here it is, the first solo album. I purchased the deluxe version, with 2 cds.
The reason why I chose that one, well.. the more music the better. The dvd you watch once or twice I think ^^ at least in my case.
Anyway I'm totally happy with my purchase.

My fave songs are About you, All you need to know, Coming home, In the end, and Today's not yesterday.

I hope he will come to Sweden and have a solo concert! I so want to listen to him singing all these beautiful songs live!! ^^

Rêves

I still miss this guy, I remember following him through Star Academy back in high school. He and Jonathan Cerrada were my fave French artists, okay JC is Belgian, but French speaking singers ^^
I used to listen to a lot of French music, watch French movies, and read french magazines back in the days. And I actually understood French. But today, I have forgotten almost all of it, a shame but a sad reality. But not the good music. However I can barely remember what he's singing about.
Then again, it doesn't matter because his voice is just perfect.
I also remember the day I found out he passed away, it was my final year in high school and it came as total surprise and I felt so sad as he had only been famous and shown his talent for a short while. 
His career and life ended earlier than most expected. It was way too early! Still his music lives on!

This album, Rêves (dreams in French), was released in 2009, and I listened to it all day at work yesterday so I felt I need to talk about it. Because if you don't know about Gregory Lemarchal and his music, you really should listen!! It's what they say "An angel's voice".

This is an artist I found because of One Tree Hill ^^
And I really like her voice, it's something special about it.

Arashi's newest album "LOVE" will release on October 23! (1,5 months to go!!!) It will contain 16 songs incl singles Calling, Breathless, and Endless Game, as well as upcoming single P.A.R.A.D.O.X. The LE version comes in a special package, and with a video clip of P.A.R.A.D.O.X, and a 60p lyrics booklet. The RE version will have a 32p lyrics booklet.

I just pre-ordered mine from Yesasia... You should grab yours too before it's out.
Edit: They raised the price from $38.99 to $42.99. Also I cancelled mine on YA as a close friend in Japan had pre-ordered me a copy of the LE at a local cd store :)

LE is already out on cdjapan, amazon jp and yesasia...as well as HMV Japan and Tower records.
If you want a LE you can order from CCR Taiwan, HMV Hong Kong or ask a friend in Japan or various Arashi related communities, they usually have people who take pre-orders.
