「untitled」

Arashi is back with their 16th album!!This album shows new challenges and styles and maybe that's why they decided on the title Untitled?

The title song Mikan (「未完」) showed the new style I love it..I love it so much! A great title track!
Overall I like this album a lot, maybe the best album in the past years. I like most because it's Arashi but thinking of the amount of songs, sounds etc. this is the overall best one in a long time! The album sold 668,000 copies in its first week! I was very keen when I first hear about the duos and trios, we have not seen those! Usually it's solos, when the list came out I was even more keen, as an Arashi fan you know about the voices and capabilities. Sho-chan and Matsujun are my fave but the duo didn't work for me, quite sad. The collaboration with Aiba, O-chan and Sho-chan is a fun song, Bazuri Night, it reminds of a song you'd hear in an arcade hall. A mix with 80's and 90's. And it also reminds me of something SMAP could have had released..haha I so wish to see this live, I guess the outfits will be fun ^^ The others are so so, I listened and moved on...
I love Fight Song and Energy song so I was anticipating the Kanpai song however sadly it was not as great as I thought.

My fave songs from the album are: 風雲, 彼方へ and 「未完」, these are on repeat on my phone as I commute to work ^^

The album is released in the Normal and Limited Edition. Limited Edition comes with a lyric photo booklet and a DVD containing the Mikan music video and making-of video. Normal Edition comes with five additional songs.

Sadly I cannot go to the concert this year but I hope to pick up some goods as I will be in Japan at the same time as the Osaka Concert!

Holiday

Around 2 years since Lion Heart and a wooping 10 years has passed since 'Into the new world'. Looking back...wow they changed a lot. But who hasn't in 10 years. I was anticipating this KILLER album but sadly this is a typical SNSD album. One or two awesome songs, the rest you fast forward and is super happy you can listen to it on Spotify instead of paying xx amount of dollars for the actual album. I'm sorry but the disappointment is to big to hide.
I love the All Night however not sure if it's going to be good live. CD version...awesome. I also like the song One Last time a lot. but that's it. The song Yuri wrote for the fans is cute and it has a meaning, still.. I heard it once and Thank you. So sad that I only got a small taste of what I wished for, maybe it was me who wished for so so so much more? But we all know an anniversary means celebrations. And I'm still waiting!!!!!

[Mini Album] KARD - Hola Hola

As said I was so excited for their official debut and album. Here it is - Hola Hola.
Besides from the 3 singles we got the title track Hola Hola plus 2 more tracks.
I think this is a very good debut album and as said I love this group is co-ed! I miss co-ed groups, when I was young I followed groups such as S-Club 7, Steps, Hear'say etc.
My fave song on this album is already released Don't recall. Second is..hmm... which one should I choose? Hola Hola I think..hehe

Taeyeon is finally releasing a full length album.
I have been super excited, I really like her music! And wow.. I'm impressed. It was a LONG time ago I heard an album where I like the majority of the songs! I cannot choose a fave, they are all good but in different ways! I believe the reason why I cannot choose is due to the mix of styles and by pulling them off she sure shows what a great artist she is. If I can say one bad thing, I so wish she'd write herself... but well well!If you haven't heard it, hurry up!! You won't be disappointed!

Are You Happy?

It's finally here, it felt like ages. I pre-ordered it back in August I believe ^^
And this album is more special to me, just like LOVE as I'll attend the tour this year! It's also getting closer, I cannot believe it.
I will write reviews for that later ;) Well, back to the album. I have mixed feelings, some are AWESOME and some are so-so. But it's a great mix of songs. I'd say that some sounds are typical JE, I could see Tackey and Tsubasa do 青春ブギ for some reason. ^^
My fave song is Miles Away, I love ballads and I was not surprised when I saw that O-chan is supervisor of it. 
As for solos I like O-chan's, his is always good! I like the mix of sound and O-chan's voice! And best of all I can listen to this song at the gym..hahaha 
Aiba-chan's solo is very A-chan style, not sure how it will be live, it has some difficult notes I think. And it would also suit TxT, but I bet it will be a fun performance.
And Matsujun's solo is also nice, it fits him. It's also a fun song I think it will be a great live performance!
Nino's is not like anything I expected, but I like it a lot! Well done Nino!! ^^
The best to last... Sho-kun's sounds like something Aiba-chan would do I think in many parts, but it's also VERY Sakurai Sho like. To sum it up a genki song and I think it will be fun to see live, Happy Hip-Hop Sho in a strange outfit! (^^;;)

The wait is over, Utada Hikaru is back! This is her first full album in eight years. The highly anticipated album includes the 2012's Sakura Nagashi, theme song of Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo.. And it also features her two recent digital singles – Hanataba wo Kimi ni and Manatsu no Tooriame.

As mentioned SNSD's leader and main vocalist is finally making her debut as a solo artist.
I'm kinda disappointed it's only a mini album and ONLY 5 songs. But what Taeyeon is giving us is good. So I cannot really complain!? 
There are a mix of songs and the lyrics can be a bit childish sometimes and also doubtful.
However in general you can notice Taeyeon has put a lot of effort into this album!
Well done and cannot wait to see her live as well as her a lot more from her as a solo artist.
My fave songs are the title track I, 스트레스 (Stress), and 먼저 말해줘 (Farewell).

It's finally here, the FULL length album by Kpop singer Ailee.

Her career has really sparked and no wonders, she has a great voice!

The main track has been a big success if you ask me and she has a mix of tunes on the album and all scream AILEE ^^

My fave songs are, in no specific order Letting Go (Feat. Amber), Love Recipe, 잔을 채우고, and 사람이 왜 그래.

샤이니 4집 오드

It has been what? 2 years since the last time we heard anything from Shinee, and I'm talking about the KPOP world. They have been trying to hit the Japanese market however although they are SM I haven't really noticed their presence. Not like DBSK and SNSD. Anyway I'm happy these guys are staying together.
Back to the album, so far this is the best one, maybe it's because they have gotten more mature, or it's simply just better than the previous ones?! ^^ My fave tracks are 이별의 길(Farewell My Love) and재연(An Encore).
As usual they mix music styles which I like, I think most people can find several songs they like.
It's a great album, worth waiting for!!! I think their upcoming tour will be awesome!!

レインボーロード

After three years, Ayaka returns with a brand new album titled Rainbow Road! The album will be released in 4 versions, A 3 cds+DVD, B 1 cd, C 3cds, and D Fanclub special edition.
The album features previously released Tsuyoku omou, beautiful, Chiisa na Ashiato, Arigatou no wa, number one, and Nijiiro. But many of the other songs have also been used for various CMs. From what I can see No End is the only song that seems to be AYAKA only ^^ no special promotion.
Disc 2 and 3 are recordings from her live tour from last year. I'm really excited to get the 3 cd version, I hope it still will be available when I go to Japan in May. I already heard previews on her official website ^^ I cannot wait!!!!

花時計

Flower is here with a new album titled Hanadoeki and translates to Flower/Floral Clock in English, which makes a lot of sense no? ^^ I have been very excited about this album, FLOWER is one of many few girl groups I follow these days, they are more mature than E-girls, it's more woman-like rather than girl-like in their dances. However as for the lyrics it's about the same level ^^;; Anyway I'm happily surprised about this album!!! But I have to admit, I wanted more new songs instead of new versions of older ones.

I really like the 2015 version of "秋風のアンサー", I loved the single version too and it's not a big change to it yet it's so good ^^ I also like the vibes from the song "青いトライアングル", it's a little Spanish touch over it ^^ Also, compare to the "old" version of "熱帯魚の涙", I like the 2015 version making the song a lot better compare to the first time I heard it. The song "Dreamin’ Together" feels like a good song to listen to at the gym, it's something about the rhythm ^^ although it also reminds me of the Disney movie High School Musical (^^;;) "Spring has come" is kinda girly but FLOWER shines through a lot, I actually listened to this while being on my way to work the other day, and as the sun rays hit my face through the window, I felt like this song kinda matched my morning feelings. Another song I really like is "時間旅行", I love the music and lyrics for this one, it has also become a fave song to listen to in the morning on my way to work for some reason... time travel would be nice I guess.

As for the covers, the song SECRET BASE～君がくれたもの～ is one of my fave Japanese songs over all and I was kinda skeptic about this, but it turned out very well!!

더 비트 고즈 온

It was in very late 2011 we first got to know this duo, they are now back with a new mini album titled The Beat Goes On.
The album has a range of dance, disco funk and R&B ballad tracks. I really like the title track 너는 나만큼, followed by Sweater & Jeans and Mother. I like songs DH produced, there's something over the way they sing those songs and the music. There are more feelings involved! I like the music for Lights, Camera, Action! However the lyrics are quite boring. The music for 촉이 와 sounds like an old video game and the lyrics too are not so exciting. For some reason, I don't feel like a lot is new an exciting, it's a development for D&E but in general as for KPOP it's just another in the crowd.

This is a comeback I have been waiting for, and although I didn't like the title track as much as the previous two I didn't let that stop my excitement.
But I have to admit, to me this album is disappointing. Or maybe my exceptions were too high? 
I have a few songs I like, but it's not enough for me, I donno, this is not the sound I was longing for to hear! The lyrics too are not what I expected. It's not a wow album, it's not a good album.. I wanted to skip through so many tracks. Not sure if it will grow on me, but as for now I'm just disappointed. I guess I have to wait for next year?

엠버 미니앨범 1집 - Beautiful

Instead of having new groups or singers SM is now trying to let more of their artists to go solo.
Now it's time for tomboy Amber, I like that she's not the typical girl that we can find so easily in Kpop. But I wonder how much is the real Amber and what she has been asked to "be".
Anyway, back to the album. It's a mini album and comes with 5 tracks. As for the main track Shake that brass, I was NOT impressed, and although I like TaeYeon, to me it felt kinda unnecessary that she was in it, so sing "Hey", "Yeah", "u-ha" and one-two lines where her voice shines through, in the rest they sound blend and could be any girl. So why even bother?! I don't like the sound of the music either... I have really tried but WHY did they chose that track as main track?
However, I'm not gonna bash the whole album, I actually like the other songs - Beautiful, Love Run and Heights are my fave. Although I have to admit the song I just wanna feat. Eric Nam is not too bad either. And most songs had sounds that were, in my opinion, unexpected. She really gets to show the Kpop world that she' not only the rapper and tomboy we are used to see. I actually wish she'd used one of those songs as title track!!! Well done!! And I hope we get to hear more from her!!!

Two Tops Treasure

It sure delivers "TackeyTsuba Entertainment" as they promised. This new album is taking us on a thrilling musical journey across various genres. In addition to the already released singles Dakinatsu, Boku no Soba ni wa Hoshi ga Aru and Viva Viva More, the album also includes 8 new songs. Even though the album has many different kind of sounds the TxT sound we are used to shines through! My fave songs are ねぇ, ココロウルオシテク, and 雨が虹に変われば.. yepp I'm a fan of ballads (^^;;)
I wouldn't say this is the best of TxT, but I give them cred for the mix of songs!! And, I'm listening to this non-stop just so I can recognize the songs at tomorrow's concert, however I'm still sad that Tsubasa won't be there. I mean a duo is not a duo with one member missing, yet I bet Tackey will pull it off!!

In recent media TS has been mentioned for taking off all her music on Spotify, very sad day for all music lovers but there's nothing that can be done! Back to the album, I finally got it!!

It has been aprox. 2 years since her previous album Red!! And being a TS fan, this is an anticipating come back!

I like this new sound by Taylor, she shows how versatile she is and she's more than just country. I really like the music style of this album a lot. It has truly been worth waiting for. Also, the album is mainly produced by Swedish composers, and maybe that's a reason why most songs attracts my ears immediately?! (^^;;) But also, it's TS all through, despite trying a more pop-ish style, you can clearly hear Taylor in all songs!

My fave song is All You Had To Do Was Stay, followed by Wonderland, Style, and I Wish You Would.

Well made album!! I so wish I could see her live, but it doesn't seem like she'll come to any of the Nordic countries this time.

Kanayan is back with a full fifth length album titled with LOVE.
I still haven't found a song that top last year's hit Sayonara. But while listening to this album I find some songs that attracts my ears immediately.
My fave song besides the one mentioned above is track 7 - Gomen ne. I also think track 9 - Abracadabra, track 10 - Love & Joy and track 11 - 25 are catchy. I'd say that 25 reminds me of some kind of movie soundtrack ^^ I also think Stand Up will be awesome to listen to at one of her lives! It gives a great big crowd vibe!!
In all I'm happy with this album!! I think she has worked hard to produce this album!!! My fave album by Kanayan ^^

에스(S) - Autumn Breeze

Over a decade since Kangta, Lee Ji Hoon and Shin Hye Sung teamed up as Group S, Now they are coming back together!
It was one of my fave units during my teens, although it was brief, I love it and I have wanted day to come for so many years now. I think we all have been patient enough..no?
This trio is known for their heart-melting voices. And this mini album is great!! They have aged and it's new music but it takes me back 11 years!
My fave song on this album is the forth track, 세상 속으로, it's something about the music and lyrics that are just magic! My second fave is the title track, 하고 싶은 거 다. But yes in all... all songs are great!! I want to see more of them in the future!!
