I was able to find this piece. Funny thing I wanted white but hubby and sales clerk said pink, so in the end I got pink ^^

I like the print of the sleeves, it's really cute and this piece is great for the winter season!

Best thing.. I got it on sale ^^ I got it 72% off!!! Such a sweet deal, originally priced over 7 000 yen and I paid slightly over 2 000 yen!

I went to buy a dress but in the end I felt like..hmm.. I have similar at home.

I stumbled upon these by chance. And I chose the brownish coloured ones.

Funny thing is that I usually do not buy bottoms from Ingni because of the size and length.

Japanese pants are sometimes cut in a place that makes them very Japanese. So it doesn't work out over here in Sweden. But these fitted well.

I don't like the belt that comes with it so I just tossed it out.

Anyway these comes in various colours, but I have many gray and dark ones, so I decided to buy beige-brown this time :)

Kobe beef!!!

One thing on my list has always been to eat Kobe beef, but you know it's expensive.

When I was a student it was out of my price range. Then the other times, I was too busy.

This time around we decided as a Christmas present we'd gift each other with a good meal!

I asked my bff who's living in Kobe to give me recommendations.

I mean.. better to ask someone who knows. Also she is good at finding places so.

She sent me a link to this place called Ishida, she said..good thing too was that they offer service in English. As neither my hubby or parents speak Japanese I think this will be good.

I made reservation online, on their website. They later confirmed back day/time.

And also we were asked to pay! Yes, in advance. But you can cancel but you need to do it in advance if you want your money back.

We decided on the lunch one, there are three different Lunch sets.

I booked the Choice Kobe Beef Lunch (Loin) 150g, Price ¥8800 (Aprox 80 USD).

The most expensive of the sets, but it will be worth it. With the meal we get the following:

A A5 Kobe Beef (Carefully Selected Kobe beef with BMS grade of 8～12)

・Kobe beef Mini Roast Beef
・Salad
・Choice Kobe Beef Loin (150g)
・Fried Seasonal Vegetables
・Rice (w/picked veg. and miso soup)

They have four locations close by, the restaurant will send you details on which restaurant you get a seat at.
All are located in Sannomiya area in Kobe.
Each location can hold 22-30 guests so it's very small but it also provides better service as they are to cook the food in front of you.

Senka Shiseido Perfect Whip

This is a product I have seen for years in Japan, it's popular among Japanese and tourists, it's sold at all drug stores, convenient stores etc in Japan. It comes from the known brand Shiseido and it's a foam cleanser.
It's also sold all over Asia, it's sooooo popular! I tried one from Korean Tony Moly but felt I got super dry (My skin is dry type so it didn't help me), therefore I decided to test this one. It's very affordable among all of the Asian cleansers, you can buy it online if you cannot travel to Japan/Asia. You only need a little piece of the foam, rub into you hands and the magic starts, rub the foam onto your face and rinse off. I was happily surprised it was not as drying and my face feels soft and clean. I love it, the little amount is thick and it cleans the face so well. A lifesaver for people with dry skin ^^ It has a small scent to it but it's not overpowering.
I will see what I can pick up during my upcoming travels, I think this will be one of them as it's comes in a good size for travelling.

Japanese web television drama developed by Fuji Television for Netflix. I found it while browsing around, I got hooked! I love that Netflix has more shows and movies that are Asian. I hope more people will see them and get the feeling that Asian dramas are awesome! I love how Kiritani Mirei is called "ugly" and unfashionable considering she is a model and always wear nice clothes..haha
The drama shows a lot of aspects of life and reminds you of a lot of thing you might go through, both men and women!
I highly recommend this drama if you have Netflix!

I found out about this foundation through Kim Dao's Youtube feed before I went to Japan.
I tried it in store and it looked good on me so I thought I'd give it a try.
I really liked to apply it to my skin, it was smooth and very light but it had a great cover. So in the end I bought a stock of it.
I'm very happy I found this foundation, for the last couple of years I have only used Korean make up brands, but lately I feel too bright and white.
Although Japanese are light too, I could find some colours that are less bright. And as I needed to get myself some new products, and not being able to go to Korea, I used Google quite a lot before I went to Japan last month.
A success ^^ I ended up buying a lot of new items!

This item comes in 4 different colours, I bought the one called 20.

It's a very small bottle so it's easy to have in the handbag / travelling etc. Also, you don't need a lot to cover yourself, so it'll last for quite some time. Not the cheapest of brands but not too expensive either. I found it also at Donki, so I got one bottle a bit cheaper, you can find it at most drugstores in Japan, but not all. It cost 1500 yen plus tax. At Donki I think I paid 1300 yen plus tax.

Intergrate is a brand by Shiseido, I have never seen it outside Japan.
I'd say this is their label for the younger generation. Their slogan says
合言葉は、「いい女なろう♡」。

ケーブルスヌード付ニット／ワンピース

This is one of the first items I bought.

I have bought a lot at Ingni before and love it. It was on sale so it made it even better ^^

However I had to go back less than 24 h later, the seamline broke, don't ask why, I couldn't see it and the store was like.. we are so sorry. ^^ The whole shoulder was off, very straight but I couldn't see why it happened, also it's not like I had been caught somewhere and I have never seen anything like it. Well well.. I got a new one and it has been no issue.

I like that it's simple. But I wear black thicker leggings, I used simple stockings but it looked quite short on me, so leggings is the way to go!

It's really smooth and comes with a "muffler" which you can choose to wear or not. Very practical, it looks like 2-in-1. I'm very happy with my purchase. I like the fitting, I thought it'd look big on me due to strips on the side, but it looks really nice so I'm very pleased ^^

Arashi in Tokyo Dome

I cannot believe I got to see them again. It has been three years since last.

And to be honest I was so star struck that I cannot remember everything, but I will write a bit!

I got my first choice on day. I chose Monday to kinda get closer to get tickets. As many Japanese people work over time it's hard for them to leave the office and make it to 6pm.

We had AWESOME seats in Arena. The center stage was right in front of us. We also had the floating stage passing above us. I dressed up for the first time, I had bought the parka and I had attached the pins to it. I also had brought  Swedish flag with me and penlight in the other hand! I kinda missed out to go to Harajuku before the concert, they usually sell cheap goods to wear for concerts, but it was ok. I made an effort ^^

Japanese are so polite, it was also easy to find our seats, but it was tight!! The concert started on time more or less, it kicked off with Ups and Downs, to me a Vegas inspired stage! It was a greats start.

I was completly starstruck, I'd never imagine Arashi would come this close.

I was so happy when they started singing Oh Yeah followed by Love so Sweet. It brought back so many memories.

Sho-kun's solo also came quite fast. A very cozy and cute setting.

I had a hard time to focus as I had to twist and turn my body to see everything, I mostly followed Sho-kun..haha

Arashi even brought out a car and had a selfie camera ^^ So much fun! Also to hear Step and Go, wow.. I cannot believe so many years have passed. it feels like it was last year it was released. 

Riida's solo, OMG... the screen shots. The faces he made, I never guessed he'd do something like that. It totally changed my view of the whole song. I couldn't stop laughing and at the same time be amazed by the one and only! Riida is a great performer!!!!!! Most songs from the new album was there, All memories of being an Arashi fan passed by. It felt unbelieable. I had so anticipated Power of Paradise, it's a song I have listned to for the past months, I love it so much!!

Matsujun had to struggle to pull of his solo, it made me cry, he really tried but this song was too much for him, it did not sound good.

Then it came, my fave song of all.. Miles Away. Up they came on their own small platforms, the wind underneath blew up a round shaped fabric making it look like clouds, it was such a great performace, I so wished I could have had recorded it. It brought me to tears, such wonderful way to perform this song. I cannot wait for the dvd, I will play it over and over. The members dressed in white made it feel like a dream and it made me think of my love back home. This was followed by Hatenai sora, a song I think has meant a lot to many Arashi fans. It was so beautiful and it was just perfect. 

As for the medley I was happy to hear many old songs, but I hate Kitto Daijoubu, don't ask but I found it boring, however they always sing it. I had rather prefered Sakura Sake or Subarashi Sekai.

Aiba-chans solo, it's like watching a 5 year old, so much fun..haha

The lyrics were a bit weird but it was a fun performance.

I was quite surprised that they did not have so many costumes this time, maybe the penlights cost too much? They could control the penlights, it was quite cool to see. But I guess that's why the wardrobe did not look as fancy as before. Still it's Arashi so it doesn't really matter.

Only one Encore, I had wished for two, I know I got greedy.

It has been quite a while since I heard エナジーソング絶好調超, I love the song, it makes me super genki! All that I needed.

But afterwards I read that the other concerts in Tokyo ended earlier than ours, I thought as it was Monday it would end earlier. Anyway it made me happy to know they brought it all!

Arashi finished off with Daylight, one of my fave singles from 2016. I was like, they cannot miss that one out! It was awesome to hear it live.

As for confetti first we got heart shaped ones, in all Arashi colours.

Then we got the longer one with the Are You Happy logo on. in Silver. Very cute.

We were lucky to get them as we sat in the middle, I could see fans going crazy to get some of them!

We got a lot..hehe

And of course we also tried to distribute to others, but the staff cleaned them away quite fast.

Best ramen in Ikebukuro

I always try to eat lots of ramen when in Tokyo.

It's due to that we have only a few places in Sweden and they are super expensive!

I told my friend over dinner that I was heading to Ikebukuro the next day and she told me to go to this place called Mutekiya ( 無敵家). It's only a few min away from Ikebukuro station (JR East Exit).

However it is super popular, I stood in line for at least 45 min. They also have menu in English, Korean, Chinese and Thai.

I love Tonkotsu ramen, and wow it was so delicious, I want to eat it again! And to press garlic into the broth, amazing!! The chashu was super thick, although 1 piece had been enough I stuffed myself with all of them..haha

And while eating by myself suddenly someone knocked on my shoulder, I turned around and saw my friend!!! I'd never imagine I'd run into someone I knew in Tokyo, She could spot me from the outside I guess ^^ Coloured hair and grey coat. She and her bf stood in line, I think they had 30 min to go before they could enter. The place wasn't big, maybe 17-18 seats in total.

If you are in Tokyo I'd strongly recommend this ramen! :)

My Melody face pack

Many might already know how much I love face packs!

I use them 1-3 times a week depending on my schedule. As winter season is approaching I think it's even more important to use them. they really help my skin to stay moisturized.

I picked this one up in Japan last time, it was quite expensive 800 yen for two, my usual Korean ones cost 100yen for one. However these Sanrio ones cost a lot more, I pay for the cuteness!

I'm not sure what this one actually does, I mean compare to the cheaper ones. It had strawberry on the package so I thought it'd have a strawberry scent to it, sadly not.

This one had a full cover incl. mouth and eyes! unexpecting!

I haven't seen with mouth before I think. My darling couldn't stop laughing at me and kept on taking photos, all for the amusement I suppose.

I hope I can pick up some more in Tokyo in a few weeks! ^^

Tokyo here we come!!

As I said I got tickets to see Arashi!

So what can I say but... TOKYO here we come!!!!!!

I'm so happy, I cannot believe I'm heading to one of my fave cities in the world, it's quite a few weeks left but still, I'm so excited. And this time I'm bringing a friend!

Conveyor belt Yakiniku!

A restaurant in Aichi prefecture is now launching a new concept of BBQ. Their concept is a conveyor belt Yakiniku restaurant. Most have heard of conveyor belt sushi, so this is a new level :)

It's located close to the Central Japan Airport (Nagoya) and the name of the place is as simple as Yakiniku Jet/焼肉ジェット. It opened a few weeks ago, Aug 19. I hope it's there to stay so I can visit ^^ Not sure when but I hope it can be soon...

The food comes to a very affordable price, as a weekday lunch the restaurant offers a “Nine Types of Grill” set for 1,680 yen.
