Jeju Orchid Eye Cream

This has become my holy grail eye cream! My hubby uses it too, we already finished a jar in 2 months. We love it, we both have dry skin, not sure of that's it.

I like the scent and the feeling after putting it on, my eyes feel calm and moist.

I have tried other eye cream but this one is the best so far!

A little go long way and patting it in is the best way to for the skin to absorb.

It's so hard to explain why, but it's the way my eye looks, even without make up. Before I could come to work without make up and I looked soooooooo tired. I can still go to work very tired, but my skin and eyes looks way more refreshed!!

According to Innisfree, this product contains orchids that are packed with antioxidants providing your skin with neutralizing agents that reverse damage caused by the sun, pollution, and other free radicals. I cannot be sure if it actually does this, but I think it's possible looking at my skin ^^
Then again I live in Sweden, not as polluted or sun right now but...

I can recommend this eye cream to anyone looking for a good eye cream ^^

Jeju orchid enriched cream

This line was one of the most highly anticipated lines I wanted to try.

As said I used a lot of other brands before but recently heard a lot of good for this Orchid line. Especially for dry skin.

When we were in Korea I could not find it at first, I went to several stores and finally asked.. is it discontinuated?

Reply was no, but they are renewing it and therefore not in store until Jan 1.

And so I waited.. for 3 days.

On Jan 1 they released it and posters all over. I got lots of messages. And they had the Lucky box promotion too as I stated in another post.

This cream was the basic in the pack and honestly I have now picked up so many creams I donno what to do. However after using another for a month, which seems to work but I cannot really see that much of a difference. I opened this. It's so rich and once applied on the skin, it feels thick. Not in a bad way, just like it coats the skin and protect it from the cold. It has a scent to it, but to me it's a fresh scent so I'm fine with it. I will review this upcoming month and let you know my thoughts.

Orchid Lucky Box

I think this ONLY comes out once per year around New years. But correct me if I'm wrong.

I went to Innisfree on Jan 1 and outside each innisfree (as I passed by quite many) they all shouted for the customers to buy one of these boxes.

One light and one dark purple.

The light one was priced at 25 000won and the dark 28 000 won.

In each box you received the basic enriched cream + one additional item.

As well as cotton pads and the box it self.

One of the additional items could be eye cream, gel cream, essence, sleeping mask or fluid.

it was kinda like a game to buy them as each weighted slightly differently. I really wanted the eye cream to be honest so I tried to find light ones. 

The reason I bought one of each is because the dark one is better for super dry skin, aka my husband!

And I also liked the colour of the box. I needed a new make up bag so it's more fun to have two different ones.

Sadly I didn't get the eye cream in any of my boxes. What I got I will be sharing with you at a later stage once I have started to try them out.

Still good value for Money as the additional item cost around 25 000 won (aprox 25USD) each.

And because my mother-in-law became a member for me, so I can get discounts I got a card to use to get further discount during our stay.

Anyway if you go to Korea and have dry skin, I can recommend you to purchase one of these!!

마이 아이섀도우 (글리터)

Earlier this year Innisfree launched their My Palette series.

They launch several items so the customer could customize. I really wish to make my own palette but I want to wait until I go to South Korea. I want to test the items out before making the final selection.

To try out a part of it I decided to get an eyeshadow. I went for the glitter one as I wanted my eyes to glow a bit for the wedding. I chose this blush colour with glitter.

I got this one in number 16. Brilliant crape myrtle (찬란한 백일홍)

This is very pigmented and can be used in many ways to get the desired look.

As I did my makeup in the morning, it still looked good in the evening, if wanted you can always retouch a bit. And yes some glitter came off but it wasn't like I had glitter all over my face so I cannot say anything bad with this one (this specific colour). To wash it off, itcomes off with a regular make up remover. You do not need to rub too much which is very good.

I'm very pleased and look forward to set my foot in an Innisfree shop and built my palette :)

No Sebum Mineral Powder

I do not have oily skin but I have dry skin. However as a lot of Korean items can look quite dewy.

I thought this item would support me to have the make up set for the day.

I have to say, yes..package is super small and you think you'd use it within a day or so. But it lasts!

It took me some time before I got this, I thought this was more for oily skin, but after some research I read people used this to set the make up. And it worked out nice for me. You have to shake out the product to be able to apply on desired places. Both the sponge it comes with and a brush works fine.

I really like this product, maybe normal baby powder would work as well but this seems slightly better, but honestly if I was given baby powder, I would't know the difference..haha

So oily skin or dry skin, this works out well for the different purposes. It's also super cheap, around 5.5 USD! It's super easy to carry in the bag. A must have in the make-up collection

I said it, I went crazy...

These are still in possession of my parents in law but they are soon to be in my hands!

From a few things to a haul!

Innisfree decided to have a huge sale.

Of course the shopaholic in me came out. And I went a bit crazy, as if that wouldn't have had been enough. There were items I wanted but couldn't find on Gmarket.

Yes, it became a Innisfree haul ^^

So I asked my mum soon to be in law to go to the closest Innisfree and grab a few things for me.

So ironic, the closest store was just up the street, like 5 min walk!!

Yes, that's how it is in Korea. The make up stores are everywhere...

I cannot wait to get all of my new items :)
