Last weekend my friend and I hit town.

And one of the outdoor stores had a big sale. One item on this sale as Kånken.

I have wanted one for quite some time but as you know...they never go on sale and as a Swede you can get them whenever. Meaning no purchase until now!

I found this one, the black on black! This is the version my hubby and I had eyed for some time and said if we are to buy one, this is it!

We got it 20% off which is more or less what foreigners get as taxfree, consider we cannot get taxfree being Swedes this was a great deal!

When travelling/out for a day, a backpack is great to have and this Kånken is all about Swedish culture although it has become a worldwide brand and icon.

Extremely happy and we have already used it ^^

Valet 2018 är nära, ett mycket spännande val.

I Sverige är vi duktiga på att ducka och gömma oss från det så kallade okända.

Vad har hänt?
När jag var liten var det inte så här. Visst vi kanske har fått fler invandrare till Sverige men Sverige är ett öppet land så varför skulle inte människor från andra länder inte vilja ta sig hit?

Kan vi ta ett steg tillbaka och se på våra medmänniskor som medmänniskor och vänner oavsett hudfärg, språk, religion eller kultur.
Vi bor tillsammas, jobbar tillsammas och umgås tillsammasn - det är alla vi formar vårt Sverige.

Sverige är byggt på traditioner som skapat vårt land till det fantastiska land Sverige är!
Låt oss fortsätta bygga det som en, inte som vi och dem!

Beautiful Berlin

We really enjoyed Berlin.

Although it felt big, at the same time it also felt small.

We walked a lot, we took various trains a lot..

We ate a lot and we saw a lot!

Can truly recommend a visit to the German Capital!

Dada Falafel

Last week in Berlin we went for lunch at Dada Falafel, one of the most popular places it seems!

It took more than 30 min to get the food, but the wait was well worth it!

The food is cheap consider what you get. You can do take out or sit in/outside.

It's well worth a stop if you go to Berlin!!

Who doesn't love Tiffany CO?

For some reason I haven't bought anything before, then again it's not cheap.

Just to think about the brand I feel poor..haha

Most thinks of engagement rings etc. 

But they also have the every day jewelry. Which I need!

Or the more simple that can be used for the occasion but not over the top but still top ^^

I grabbed two items, earrings and necklace.

As my b-day is coming up, tomorrow actually I got my hubby to pay for one item.

So happy!!

Tim Hortons in US

If you have ever been to Canada you know what Tim is.

I was sooooooo surprised when I was told they had a location close to our US office.

I got my colleague to drive me there twice during the stay!!

I also managed to get donuts and coffee.

I miss Canada so much! Especially Tim!

I need to plan a Canada trip!

One of my cravings have been cold Korean spicy noodles.

I grabbed a package in NYC.
And luckily I got my hubby to cook it. A perfect dish for the summer!

Walking around NYC

Last week I had the chance to explore a bit of NYC.

I haven't been there for 4 years!

On Sunday morning due to all traffic sound I woke up early and decided for a morning walk.

I took the subway down to York Street and walk a few min.

Despite the early morning many people lined up to take photos.

I took a walk along the water before heading up to Brooklyn Bridge and then walking down to WTC.

It had all changed a bit since last time but still all felt and looked familiar.
