Cute drinks

This is why I love Asia.

Something so ordinary can become so cute and make you smile!

I went into the convenient store to get ONE drink. In the end I came out with several.

I just had to buy due to the cute bottles!

Kpop soda (it tasted bad though I only had two sips) from SM Entertainment - Super Junior Snow Cola

Proper milk

I saw this on FB a few months ago and I wanted to try.

However the super market that sell this fresh milk is on the other side of the city, maybe 15 min with the underground so not so far but I do not really go there a lot.

I went there the other weekend to meet up with a friend, so I saw my chance to try it.

As it's "fresh" it is needed to be consumed within 24 h. Not a long time. It was not the most cheapest either but I had to try.

I'm very happy with the choice, still not sure when I'd try it again... I won't travel all over the city for milk! ^^

Absolut Korea

I had to have this one, it was released a few weeks before we went to Korea.

I do not really like Vodka, but I like the design of the bottle and it was a perfect souvenir.

We haven't tried it yet, not sure if we will either, the flavour doesn't seem so appealing to me.

Oh well.. a fun Swedish Korean Souvenir :)

Drink w a view

The weather was so so, still looking at this view, Stockholm is beautiful!

It's kinda sad we only have one of these but better one than zero I suppose.

I hope to take Kyo-chan here when she come and visit!

Kakao talk craziness

Kakaotalk and Line are huge in Korea.

Even Coca Cola uses Kakaotalk.

Lately I use to tell my darling this word, so when I saw the can in Korea I had to buy it.

심쿵해 means the heart is beating hard

Banana cake @ 바나나트리

I found this online before heading to Seoul.

Then one of the days we ended up in Sinsa. After lunch despite feeling so full I could throw up.

I decided that we'd visit this place just because it was one block away and convenient as we were in Sinsa already. I calculated that I wouldn't have the time to go back before leaving Seoul for this time either. This place is called Banana Tree. Their speciality is their cake and cotton candy drink.

Due to our stomachs already being overloaded we shared a cake and I took a non-alcoholic mojito and my darling took an espresso.

As it is called Banana Tree we chose the Banana cake!

Isn't it adorable, it comes in a flower pot too!

I have to give hands to Sprite for this new taste!

My darling picked it up for me when we rented movies the other week.

It is called Sprite Mint - it taste like a Virgin Mojito!!

Delicious

Ugly but Lovable

I finally tried this one, the weird looking smoothie from Froosh.

It's called UGLY BUT LOVABLE. And yes I agree, the colour doesn't look tasty and seeing the taste Spinach and Coconut doesn't make my mind go..YEAH let's try that.

However for the past month I have been looking at it and now I finally took the guts to try it!

My verdict, A LOT better than I imagined. It's both sweet and a bit sour.

You can clearly taste the spinach and the lemon and yuzu juice.

I think it also taste a lot of banana!

It feels more healthy but I could be wrong, however lesson learnt, never judge by its looks ^^

Moomin tea time

My colleague and I talked about foods and stuff, then we talked about tea and she told me she had Moomin Tea at home. Very Finnish of my Finnish colleague no?

Then she was kind enough to bring to work so I got to taste.

I hope that she will find it again next time she goes to Finland, I really want a pack ^^

Pressies from Korea

When I came home the other day I found a box from Korea.

I knew that HJ unni had sent me some noodles, but I didn't know she'd send me this much!

She got me 4 packs of "Jja wang", black bean noodles which are very popular in Korea right now.

She also sent me a dessert/drink mix with green tea from the Korean cafe called A Twosome Place, and two mask packs from Innisfree.

She's such a cutie!! I miss her a lot. Looking forward to see her new year in Seoul. I'm gonna bring her lots of Swedish deliciousness!!!

One Altitude

Here's another post from my Singapore trip. This is taken at One Altitude. The place is most famous for their Al Fresco bar, we also went there. But I didn't know that their inside bar was this good. Because of the weather the second time we tried to go we were not allowed to go to the roof top so we went here instead. But we liked it a lot more. And since we were early, we got the best seats in the house!! ^^

So when you are in Singapore, don't forget to also stop by at this bar!! The roof top of course is great, but the inside bar is also awesome!!!

If you want the best view, head quite early so you can see the sunset. The night lights are nice too. but nothing beats the sunset.

This is the bar, not so big but they have an amazing view!!

Singapore sling

I have gone through my photo archive and I have a lot to share.
It's a shame it's this late but I'm stupid...hahaha

This is from Singapore, as most tourist does, we went to Raffles hotel for their Singapore sling!

While drinking we had a small bet, no money or anything just the victory ^^ How many of these drinks to they sell of average in a day?

I guessed 400, C and S said way less. And when we finally asked one of the bartenders, he said they sold, on average in one day...hold for it... Between 700-1000!!!!!!!!!

That means, not only that people must drink this at any hour of the day, as it wasn't too packed, please just comes and goes!!!

Yes, this little drink is a money making machine, and for the ones who are working it might be boring to create the same thing 700 times a day, a week, year in and out. But that little delicious drinks pays a lot!!! XD

And we tried it at several places but we of coursed enjoyed it the most at Raffles, could be all mentally but it was the best of the ones we tried.

Long bar at Raffles is the place to visit!!

Fanta Lemon ZERO

A colleague of mine went to Spain for holidays but before she went she talked about this one. Fanta Lemon Zero, or Limón as it's called in Spanish.

My fave Fanta Flavour is Lemon, but I hate the Zero options we have in Sweden. However she said this was the best so I kindly asked, in case she had space if she could bring me one. And yes.. kindly she did!

I tried it a few weeks ago, and it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO good!!!

It tasted like normal Fanta Lemon!

I so wish Fanta Sweden would introduce this one on the market. it's so good!!!

I start to feel quite spoilt.

Every time I ask my bf to get me wine he get me good ones. They are a bit more pricey but the taste is good so it worth it.

I'm also thinking to switch my season now... from red to white/rose ^^

Matcha cream @ Starbucks

I met Sacchan a few days ago. We sat down at Starbucks. At first I had difficulty to decide what I wanted but then it hit me....
In Japan of course you have to have a matcha cream ^^
This Starbucks was super crowded then again it was down in Namba so...that's what you get ^^;;
It was very cute design in the shop. I really liked it ^^

Moomin stand in Sunshine city

I think this is new... i did not see it last Dec.
I have wanted to try this for quite some time. It was a happy surprise ^^
I took a Mango bubble smoothie. I wish we'd have this place in Sweden.

Fanta - Best flavour

I totally agree with what the bottle says...
It is the best Fanta flavour... Japanese Ume ^^

Strawberry Panacotta

I'm seriously drinking my way through Singapore. By that i mean soft drinks... mostly Milk tea but also coffee drinks and non-coffee drinks like this one.
This is a Strawberry Panacotta drink from Starbucks. I was not able to finish it. However the HUGE size was on promotion that's why I got it ^^;;
It's fun to be back in Asia... fun things to see, eat and drink ^^

Bar Stories

The other day we went for drinks after a long day sightseeing ^^
We ended up at a place called Bar stories. Their speciality was that they had no menu. Instead you told the bartender what you like and he'd create something based on your request.
I said I wanted something sour yet fresh. I got this berry drink with gin. I'd say this is the most pretty drink I have ever received ^^ a good ending to a great day ^^

Long Drink

On the boat a few weeks ago I was told this was SUPER Finnish and some couldn't believe I hadn't tried it before. So I ended up buying one, I tried it out last weekend, what can I say but - There's a reason why, it tasted AWFUL!!

Sorry to all who likes this but I felt like throwing up, I only took one sip!!

Oh well, at least now I know what it is!!
