The fun continues...

I just love this show, the men really show off themselves.
It's also fun to see them all together with the different levels and way of thinking.
Also I had no idea there was a non-stop train to Busan from Yongsan station.
I thought they only left from Seoul station.
And from Yongsan they only went towards Mokpo... the other side of Southern South Korea..haha
I cannot wait until next week's show

살림하는 남자들

My new entertainment is the Korean variety show called Mr House Husband.
It's a KBS reality show where we follow 6 men doing houswork and parenting.
It's so hilarious to see the difference and the talks between them.
Some are so good, I told my darling to be more like some of them.
I enjoyed the cooking, my darling replied... why the hassle? You can just buy it at the store..hahaha

Some of the episodes has also given me some tips of cooking.
I want to try out the sausage mix and rice paper ^^
I'm not gonna do proper sausage but ingredients can be used for other kinds of food!

Too bad we live in Sweden, it's hard to make kimchi, it smells too much :(
It looks so delicious, I wanted to grab some through the screen.

I ate dumplings a few days ago, I want more... I want to make them too ^^
It's much tastier..hehe

태양의 후예

I finally decided to watch this drama, and it has become quite addictive. I'm already up to date as I had a marathon the other day. I only have the remaining 3 SPs.
The ending was pretty bad, sorry but what kind of crap was that?? So much excitement until the end then that!? Well well..will see what happens.
For some reasons, I'm a bit disappointed with Song Hye Kyo's acting, I used to like her a lot but there have been way too many scenes where I'd call her acting extremely poor.
Song Joong Gi's English is almost incomprehensible, I'm sorry but I have to read the Korean subs to understand it. Also there were a few times when it got messed up, A speaking English and B Korean, at first they did not understand each other suddenly they had a conversation completely matching each other.

As for the 3 SP episodes left I think I won't be able to see the extras until I return from Asia.

Si-jin and Mo-yeon begin to date, but due to their jobs, their dates don't go well. Si-jin takes an order to lead his soldiers on a peacekeeping mission to the fictional country of Uruk. 너무 아픈 사랑은 사랑이 아니었음을

Although I had my Ailee week last week, there are still many songs I didn't get to share.
I guess I'd need a month or so to do that!!!
Then it struck me as I was listening to a shuffle of various songs by her and I heard this. I was like... I forgot this one last week!!! How could that happen? lol
She's totally A M A Z I N G when performing this!!!! I wish she'd record it!!!

Here's "It's not Love if it Hurts too Much"
And, I found a version with Eng sub so you all can get the feeling she's conveying!

여러분

Lately I'm into Ailee, her past singles has really got to me.
And the other day I saw this clip from the KBS show Immortal Song 2: Singing the Legend.
She has such an amazing voice!! I really hope she could make it bigger, as she knows English very well, she could be a big hit all over the world!!

Anyway here's one of my fave live songs by her, a cover... the song is called Everyone.
Original singer is Yoon Bok-Hee (윤복희)
This version comes with Eng sub so you all can understand what she sings (^^;;)

Enjoy!

내일도 칸타빌레

One of my fave dramas are Nodame Cantabile, and when I heard that they'd make a Korean version, I wasn't too sure.
I mean, Tamaki Hiroshi and Ueno Juri were made for the parts as Chiaki-sempai and Nodame.
Oh well, it will be interesting to see how this story will develop! It's a few weeks left but I'm excited already ^^

Title: Cantabile Tomorrow
Hangul: 내일도 칸타빌레(Naeildo Kantabilre)
Network: KBS2
Episodes: TBA
Broadcast: October 13, 2014 --
Runtime: Mon & Tue 21:55

Original Story
Shinichi Chiaki, an arrogant, multilingual perfectionist, is the top student at Momogaoka College of Music and has secret ambitions to become a conductor. Born into a musical family, he is talented in piano and violin and once lived abroad in the music capitals of the world as a young boy (namely Prague), but is trapped in Japan because of his childhood phobia of airplanes and the ocean. In contrast, Megumi Noda, or "Nodame", is a piano student at Momogaoka, notorious for messiness and eccentric behavior. Despite being very talented, Nodame prefers to play by ear rather than according to the musical score; thus, she is regarded as sloppy and playful.

When they meet by accident, Nodame quickly falls in love, but it takes much longer for Chiaki to even begin to appreciate Nodame's unusual qualities. Their relationship causes them both to develop and grow. Along the way, they meet some crazy people (like Masumi, Mine, and Stresemann) and make lasting friendships. Because of Nodame, Chiaki gets the opportunity to lead a student orchestra and begins to have a broader appreciation of people's musical abilities. Because of Chiaki, Nodame faces her fears and enters a piano competition. Opportunities open up as both begin taking risks, stretching themselves far more than they ever thought possible.

After graduation, Nodame succeeds in curing Chiaki from his phobias and they both move to Paris, where Nodame continues her piano studies at the Conservatoire de Paris while Chiaki starts a professional career as a conductor. In Europe, they encounter new friends and rivals, as well as keep in touch with their friends from Japan.

I have not been able to find out the plot for the Korean version...

일비스 + 크레용팝

Take two annoying songs and put the artists together and this is what you get..
it's hilarious!! The Ylvis brothers look totally lost...lol

Also, here's their own song.. the fox ^^
The Asians does not seem to get the joke.. not all of them anyway ^^ which makes it even more hilarious!!

Note to KBS... for these intl. shows like these, you should have a better sound system or staff who can control it!! I'm honest when I say it was embarrassing watching the show!!

Follow your dreams

I'm anticipating Younha's comeback... only a few days left!!
Then I was looking around Youtube and thought I'd share this, a performace from KBS 불후의 명곡/Immortal song a few weeks ago!
I absolutely LOVE it!!
It's a cover of an old song, think it's from the 70's. It's called "네 꿈을 펼쳐라/Follow your dreams"

원더파티

This is the month of comebacks for girl bands, it has been quite some time since we saw Wonder Girls on Korean ground and what a comeback!
I love their new title track, Like this. I think it's the flash mob they have in their music video that's eye-catching. JYP is a great producer and that's also why I look at this ground.
The whole mini album is good, I'm surprised that I liked it as much as I do. My fave tracks are Like This, Girlfriend and the English song The DJ is mine.

More performances!!

It sure is the comeback week..
Today the guys also performed on KBS Music Bank!!

However I have to say that they sounded better yesterday, it felt like Dongwan came a bit off key on both Hurts and Venus.
Still I love the songs, Hurts is so sad and makes me wonder if Eric wrote this based on real life...

Oh yeah.. I showed this to my mum and she said.. Wow you can really see that they are Korean and not Japanese. They are so different from Arashi XD
I didn't think she noticed but she did... she also said that Andy and Eric looked more Western than the other members, and well she's kinda right.. since they have been living in the US a long time I guess you can see it :P
Eric looks so cool on stage.. and even though I have never really looked at him before I'm starting to do so XD
Last night JunJin reminded me of FTTS member Hwanhee but today it was back to JunJin ^^

What does it mean? Where can I find it?

Look over here

Don't you just hate Google translate?
How many of you haven't laughed at what you have seen? Or felt even more confused?
Korean, Japanese and English are very different and when translating it can become so wrong and/or weird...

This site, or dictionary is good for you who need help with Korean..
It has Korean-English, English-Korean, Chinese-Korean, French-Korean and Japanese-Korean!
It translate words not a full sentence. However this one is far better than google at least the Japanese and English one, I've never used the other ones.. ;)

*Note - The site is in KOREAN.
영어사전 English dictionary
프랑스어사전 French dictionary
중국어사전 Chinese dictionary
일본어사전 Japanese dictionary

http://dic.naver.com/

IF you are interested in watching KOREAN or JAPANESE TV live... or recordings
You should check this site out, it's called U-stream and you can follow channels from all over the world. However it's not always possible to watch live.. it all depends on the "uploader"

http://www.ustream.tv/

Other channel is KBS able ^^ You can follow both KBS1 and KBS2 live :)
But don't forget the time difference.. ;)
