Workout of my life!!

I had one of the toughest sessions ever with my PT the other day... Tabata cardio on all of the cardio machines at the gym plus some other tabatas and stretch. I probably died a few times but came back to life miraculously!!

My body is still sore and I know what's gonna come this autumn!!

Kransekake

Kransekake, or Ring cake is a Norwegian cake made from almonds, icing sugar and egg whites.

The cake is often served at various celebrations like weddings, baptisms, Christmas.

Kransekake is made by rings in different sizes which are then stacked into a pyramid-shape. It is held together by icing between the layers.

My Norwegian colleagues have talked so much about this cake but I have never had the chance to taste it, when I saw it at my colleagues house last weekend, I was like..FINALLY I get to try it. And it was GOOD!! I could eat this with ice-cream any day as dessert! A great dessert!

My darling liked it too. We are so happy we got to try this and all the other deliciousness's on the table!

Dangerous maybe?

We thought our first hotel room had a great bathroom, but as the shower didn't work we got to change our room. As it was fully booked we got a free upgrade!

A very nice one. And this bathroom, take a look.

I'm happy I was not under any kind of influence, I mean it could be dangerous, also to find the lights was not easy, and going to the bathroom at night could turn out for the worst!

I liked the design and it was the first I ever saw something like this.

But yes, maybe not the most practical?!

24 h getaway

We took the flight down to Skåne on Saturday morning to visit a friend of mine who recently moved.

We attended her daughter's baptism. It was so beautiful.

Also, they have moved to a beautiful neighbourhood.

It just a few min walk from the beach and the sand was amazing!

I'm so envious, I so get it why they moved and they are most likely not to come back to the capital.

Nevertheless now we can go there and visit them :)

Friday Dinner @ Burger and Lobster

After a hellish day on Friday we tried to cheer us up with some good food.

My first meal of the day! I couldn't eat anything due to what happened to us!

Anyway back to the food, it was my second time here, and we could book tables online so it was great. As we were seated we could see the line getting bigger and longer by each minute.

We took one lobster roll and one grilled lobster and shared.

I have tried the roll before so I looked forward to the grilled lobster.

As last time, it was DELICIOUS!! We couldn't have asked for anything better!

A great finish on a so-so day!

I totally recommend this place if visiting Stockholm.

I sorta have forgotten about this. This tune was released around the time I came back from Japan.

I have to say I prefer Flower over E-girls, I think their style is much better.
やさしさで溢れるように (Yasashi sade afureru yō ni) means Kindness Overflowing.

I love Matt Damon, but when I saw this I was like.. WTF?
Yepp, it's a made up story but why China's Great Wall and a White man?

Are you seriously doing this again? Last time I laughed was at the movie Karate Kid made by Will Smith. It was about Kung-Fu! Really...? It's like Apples and Pears.
But it's not the first time.. Hollywood is what it is.

And this time China's Great Wall gets a WHITE man to save it! (^^;;) Not sure if I should laugh or cry. Especially since the director himself is Chinese and most likely are many investors Chinese too.

But, maybe this is what they want, and in the end it will get people to go and see it. Both in West and China.  Personally for me, I would have found it more interesting with a Asian male lead such as Any Lau, Jackie Chan, Chow Yun Fat, Takeshi Kaneshiro, Takuya Kimura, Ken Watanabe, Byung-Hun Lee, or Min-Sik.  At least the appearance of an Asian man would be more correct.

In my opinion.. Don't make a movie about Asian History and have a white man to come and save it! That's not reality it is just laughable.

But in all, it just shows that everything is just about money, not a story if it's China. Africa, South America or Europe.
I bet they have already made a Chinese version of this movie already and made a lot of money. Then someone got greedy and thought, let's make a Hollywood version and make some more! So ironic and tragic.

I read some of the articles but seriously...Can this be called #Whitewashing?

What a year with scandals and departures.

She is back!

A good friend of mine came back to Sweden the other week.

We met up last Friday for some drinks and dinner. It was so good to see her again, I haven't seen her for 7 months!! She has been missed!

Indian dinner

I met with a friend earlier this week. We had dinner at one of the best Indian restaurants in Stockholm.I had a plate of mixed sizzlar, I love it!! I could eat this several times a week if I could. But good that I don't, 1. I'd be fat, 2. I'd be broke! haha

When we came we were all alone, halfway through the dinner the restaurant was full!!

Can't wait until I can have this again!

Drink w a view

The weather was so so, still looking at this view, Stockholm is beautiful!

It's kinda sad we only have one of these but better one than zero I suppose.

I hope to take Kyo-chan here when she come and visit!

Movie in Style

It was not like I needed the glass but it was our first time to visit the VIP section at Rigoletto.

I have never had a glas of wine at the movies before, and not sure how often we'll visit this section so.

I got mixed feelings, I have no idea why the tables were placed wrong on our line, but well.. I became a couple with someone else..hahaha

It kinda ruined the moment.

Movie was great but well.. not sure if I will pay that much again to see a movie.

Sorry but SF needs to get a bigger screen and better sound! It's so small and volume is low. If they have the VIP and all they need to shape up the WHOLE experience!

My cucumber

I bought a cucumber plant the other week and when I came back a week after I got a cucumber.

I'm so overjoyed, I didn't expect it to grow so fast, and best of all it was SOOOOO delicious!

It looks more like a cucumber you should pickle but it was delicious raw/fresh too.

I'm so happy I got it ^^
