We made a new visit to this place, they have a special kind of ramen, or tsukimen.

I brought my darling this time and also one of my best friends. She said her husband was jealous because this place is kinda famous!

I took a normal size portion, so did my friend but my darling took a larger, which he in the end didn't finish. I struggled to finish mine. I thought I'd explode at one point..haha

Before order, think of the size, it's more than you think!

I had a "normal" one but I think mini would have had been more suitable,

Tsukemen means you dip the foods in a separate bowl. The broth is usually thicker.

Ramen means all is mixed in one bowl.

Mini = Ramen 150g noodles, Tsukemen 200g
Normal = Ramen 250 g, Tsukemen 300g
And the largest (XL) has 500g for ramen and 600g for Tsukemen!

Delicious breakfast

Last Friday I met with my colleague and BFF for breakfast as we had the day off.

We went to my fave breakfast sandwich place.

And we did not only have sandwiches, we also stuffed ourselves with this deliciousness, a croissant with vanilla custard filling! I also had a BIG cup of coffee! It was the first time for me to sit inside, I usually buy outside and go to work. So I didn't know they also had so much as they did!

I'll most likely go there again!!

Another B-day gift

I met with Hanna last Saturday, she gave me these.

Some products from Rituals, one of my fave stores and this small painting.

Great lunch with one of the best

Yesterday i woke up at 7 am and then headed out of Tokyo to Chiba.
The train ride out to Ichihara, Chiba took around 1.5 hours. And yes i slept on the train. Luckily i found a direct train from Shinagawa ^^
Out on the countryside of Chiba i met up with one of my best friends..Sayuri.
We first headed out for lunch, she took me to a Japanese place and we got this..limited to only 20 servings a day ^^
It looks small because of the sizes of each dish, however it was impossible to finish!!
I liked it a lot ^^ AWESOME FOOD really.

Pressies from China

Like I mentioned yesterday, I met with Hanna. And as our tradition is we always buy each other presents when we travel. This time was no exception.

I got 4 things - New Zealand Kiwi chocolate, Shanghai Snow Moisturizing cream, converse key chain and a cute postcard.

I'm on my sugar ban, but I tried a little yesterday, half-a-square.. ^^ it was delicious, a weird yet delicious combination!! I have never tried kiwi and chocolate before. Except for fruit chocolate fondue.

The facial cream was very different to the skin but smelled nice and felt nice to apply!

I'm so grateful and happy ^^

Chinese food..again ^^

After more than 2 weeks I finally met up with Hanna again.

I haven't seen her as she's been in China on a holiday/work trip.

It was great seeing her again, despite being tired.. that's both of us ^^

And although she just came home from China, we had Chinese food!!

My fave spicy chicken and a beef soup(!?)

All delicious of course and great company!!

I've missed her so so much!!!

Hot Pot Sunday

Last Sunday Hanna and I had a Hotpot lunch/dinner Sunday together!

It was really fun, we also made Ddeokbokki.

And don't be fooled, we did not eat it all, I think I put most of it back in my fridge ^^

Oh well.. a great Sunday with one of my best friends ^^

And delicious food!

アルペックス's muzip

I forgot to mention, when I came home last Sunday I had received a package from Sayuri unni in Japan.

I think we have sent each other birthday and Christmas presents for 6 years now.

And I got to say this, she knows me well!! I had not told her, so I think the gift she came up with was perfect ^^

She gifted me with a cool pair of earphones!

I have been saying I need extras as it's not so nice to use the same at the gym and casual.

Also, she did not just get me any kind of earphones, she gave me these cute ones ^^

They come from the brand called Alpex (アルペックス) and they are called muzip (AHP 118PB)

I think it's a Japanese brand.. ^^

Anyway they are really cute, just because you can zip them ^^ And they come in many various colours.

Unni gave me these, pastel blue. the cartoon on the package is cute too ^^

Also since I'm talking about presents, I should also mention that Elisabeth, whom I visited in Luleå and celebrated my b-day with also gave me two presents, a "jar" and really nice tea and a new lotion from Body Shop.

I really have awesome friends who really knows me. It was a great b-day this year ^^

Hotpot dinner

I donno why we ate this since it was so hot outside but we did!

Hanna and I had been talking about this for ages so in the end we decided to eat hot pot.

We were the only ones at the restaurant. And to be honest, I wonder why I haven't been there before.

They had both "teppanyaki/bbq", "hot pot" and "regular Chinese/Japanese buffet.

Also, in my opinion it was cheap, consider everything being expensive in Sweden XD

This is the best hot pot place in Stockholm

I will so visit this place again!! ^^

Present from a business trip

Hanna went on a business trip to Romania a few weeks ago, and we usually buy pressies to each other when we travel. Usually we buy foods and other small stuff. However this time she got me this really nice jewelry box. It's kinda ironic as I was looking at one a few weeks ago, however this one is much much nicer!

Hanna also told me she wanted one herself, however they only had one at the store.

So nice of her to give it to me...no!? ^^
