I'm busy with my studying therefore no updates on Korean dramas or series..
I haven't been able to check out Korean/Taiwanese Skip Beat either. But to be honest it's quite boring too so I do not miss it too much. I finished reading the 29th vol. of the manga last week and cannot wait until the 30th will be out (^^;;)

I miss WGM, but it has to wait until I'm finished with this class... or semester even!
Life sucks when it comes to being busy but that's how it is. Also it's more difficult to access with all the various ACTA/SOPA etc going on in the world.


However to end this weekend I took a facial mask...!!
Tomorrow is monday and I'm heading back to school! Hope u guys enjoyed ur weekend, I spent mine studyin!

Like I said I got my second batch of goods from Gmarket!
I'm so happy, I can finally use my new Samsung Galaxy S2 phone!!
and not only just use it... I'm going Hello Kitty style! (^^)

These shoes are just awesome, both for casual and more dressed up occations! (^^;;)

Vol 29 of Skip Beat!
I've been a fan of Skip Beat for years and when I finished vol 28 last summer I've been waiting and looking forward to this!

Time to pimp my new phone... Hello Kitty Style.
Also as always Koreans always give you free stuff.
I thought I bought one Hello Kitty Screen Protecting Film but instead I got 6!!!
Only 2 HK still, I'm very pleased with the service!


Not only is the cover in itself cute it also came in a very cute package!!

I'm so gonna buy new covers from there.. they have so many to choose between and they provide great service. Besides they are cheaper and have more to choose between rather than my local store here in Sweden!

One reason to love Korean stuff is the extra stuff they give you.. in the pack with the screen protection, it was not only one but two!
I also got 4 other for free, but not HK ^^

Skip beat - LAD ep 4

The story slowly continues..
What I haven't written but bothers me is that they use kimono and other traditional Japanese stuff in the drama...Which I cannot understand why!?
They should have changed it to Taiwanese ones.. I mean it doesn't make any sense at all!!
The manga is Japanese but then.. if they want to use Japanese things then they should have stuck with the JAPANESE names and shooted the drama in JAPAN but in mandarin langauge!?

This episode copies the manga and anime as well....
Therefore quite boring as said before, fast forward PLEASE!!

Jealousy strucks between our men, which man can be the best? ^^;;
A top star has nothing to worry about, so it seems ^^
Gong Xi continues to work hard in her LOVE ME suit... maybe too hard even?
Still a cry baby and do not yet understand the business, but when least expect it the so called Prince charming turns up to rescue her ^^
Jealousy also stucks on set with female actresses as Dun He Lian is a very popular man among the females!

Gong Xi also gets to show her true self, while other believes it's acting... this is what she use to do, she knows how to walk and behave in a kimono!
We can follow the battle between the girls, some just want to prove themselves other wants to win someones heart!

Next week we'll see more...


Also behind the scenes after this episode... I heard Siwon speaking his lines in KOREAN!!
I wonder when I'll be able to hear it... for some reason even though it's weird that she's speaking in Mandarin and him in Korean I think I'll prefere it that way since it sounds stupid when hearing the dubbing XD

Story
Gong Xi sacrificed her life to support her boyfriend, Bu Puo Shang, so he could become a successful singer. Skip beat - LAD ep 3

I'm quite disappointed to be honest, it feels like they totally copy the anime.. but drag out every scene.
I mean fine if it's similar, since it's built on the manga and all... but for me... I rather watch the anime since at least they look to fit their age.
Compare to Hana Kimi and HYD.. they are similar but different which is fine and I loved the dramas. (Japanese version)
And they showed it's possible to change the storyline a bit.. also the Taiwanese dramas are always long aprox 1 h. I think it'd be fine with a 45 min drama.


In this episode Donghae looks younger than Ivy and it's supposed to be the other way around...
I wonder if I will last watching this. Maybe the power of Siwon will help me?

In the 3rd ep it's more of "Kyoko's" audition and start at LME.
She also gets her pink outfit... but it's still quite boring, I hope it will get better in the middle part... from ep 15 smth!

Skip beat - LAD ep 2

New ep of my new drama Skip Beat..
I donno why but this episode made me realise why I hate Taiwanese dramas.. they are toooooooo long!
I mean for the audition part they aired a whole episode, of course it's a huge part for what's coming but well.. maybe they went a bit crazy? Since it seems it's not over yet!!

Also for some reason Ivy who acts as Kyoko looks to old. Kyoko is supposed to be 16 years old.
Sure Ivy is cute and all but she is 29 years old, almost 30 which makes her almost double the age.
Anyhow.. as said we could follow Kyo-chans or Gong Xi's audition... (Taiwanese name for the character is Gong Xi) and we'll see even more soon, no sight of Donghae or Bu Puo Shang as his character is called in this episode.
Siwon or Dun He Lian looked as awsome as always.. I like his facial expressions ^^ but wished I could hear his real voice instead of the dubbing part.


Wonder if I'm gonna skip the first half since it's almost identical to the manga and anime.
However since volume 29 of the manga just came out I guess the drama will be having from twist and turns we haven't read about.
I need to get a copy of vol 29 of the manga!!! :P

Skip beat - LAD ep 1

Last night before bed I finally watched the first episode of Skip Beat - Live Action Drama.
What can I say... it felt like they totally copied the anime version.
I like the songs, still cannot understand the ending song, why HENRY??? I wish it would have had been Siwon, I mean Henry has NOTHING to do with this... :P

Anyway.. their acting was fine, the boys are good looking - as always!! And since it was the opening episode and all - some things were dragged out. We didn't need all that but maybe that's because I've read both the manga and seen the anime version.
I was disappointed that DongHae and Siwon's voices were dubbed into mandarin, But I do believe they are actually speaking in Korean because their mouths and what's is said in Mandarin to not match XD and I think I read it somewhere before.
A shame... because it looks strange.
I really want to see it without dubbing and then instead having subtitle.

Skip Beat - to begin!

It's less than a week until Taiwanese FTV will start to broadcast the Live Action Drama version of SKIP BEAT starring Super Junior's Siwon and Donghae.
I'm very very looking forward seeing the first episode!! I've already seen it will be broadcast in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore... S.Korea is not to be found yet! I think it's because they need to translate the chinese.

There are 2 channels in Taiwan who will broadcast this drama.. starting with FTV on the 18th and GTV on Dec 24! It's 13 episodes and the final broadcast will be in March!!
I wonder if I'll be able to follow it by each week, however I love the manga so I'll def. try to follow this drama as much as possible!!

SKIP BEAT - Live action drama

Skip Beat! has been one of my fave mangas, I've read them all - that has been published so far.
I have been excited since I heard about the live action idea, first starring Taiwanese Ariel Lin and Jerry Yan. However it changed to Super Junior's Siwon and Donghae and Taiwanese actress Ivy Chen.

Earlier SM entertainment, on Dec 1, released a teaser for the drama on youtube.
I'm still not sure about the mix with Chinese and Korean language. I think I'd prefered to have just one language. Anyway this will be a first so we'll see, it might be better than it looks (^0^)
