Baked potato

I love baked potato, or potatoes in general for that matter.
But I rarely eat baked ones these days. it's basically something I eat outside.
Last Sunday I had this for late lunch. By looking at the size, of course impossible to finish but delicious! ^^

This is such a simple dish if you think about it.
And underrated!!

Baked potato with Skagen mixture and salad

Rather be

Who has missed this song?
Clean Bandit's Rather Be
They are playing it a lot on the radio in Sweden, and probably in other parts of the world.
By watching the music video makes me longing for Japan.

Bubble tea - think again

I found this...made me laugh!
Funny marketing for Bubble tea, wonder if I will be able to enjoy it like before?!

Θέλω τόσο να σε δω

More of Greece (Cyprus to be correct but well..) and this time music by Evridiki and Dimitris Korgialas.
For you who do not know them... they are actually married ^^
Also some of you may recognize Evridiki from Eurovision Song Contest, she has represented Cyprus 3 times.
This song is called Θέλω τόσο να σε δω (Thelw toso na se dw)

焼きキットカット

There's a brand new Kit Kat taste sensation? Exclusive in Japan.
What's special? Well... have you every tried to toast a Kit Kat?!
Now the Japanese people can!!

Chef Takagi has come up with caramel custard-taste Kit Kat that is toastable!!!

)

How to Cook/Bake them

Put the Kit Kat in the fridge (they taste pretty good when cold and solid too)
Put them in the oven (or toaster) and set the thermostat to "toastable" level.
Be sure not taking your eyes off during the whole cooking.
Let them toast for 2 min.
OR
Take the Kit kat's out once they start to glaze.
Let them chill then enjoy ^^

Vietnamese food

More food ^^
As Elisabeth came to visit we went out for dinner. On Saturday night we had Vietnamese food.
The restaurant is not that famous but a co-worker said it was good so I thought..hmm...let's try it.

We shared two starters and a main. We also had dessert.
I'm happy with the food. I did not get a wow factor like I thought I would but it was nice ^^

I shall visit again! ^^

Vietnamese spring rolls + fried pasta filled dumplings with shrimp

Tofu and veggie curry and coconut milk

Coconut icecream with chocolate sauce

없어

As I browsed around Youtube the other day, I came across this song with Younha feat Eluphant called "Nothing" in English.
Although I have heard it before, it has been a forgotten tune.

I actually prefer the solo version...

Which version do you prefer?
With or without Eluphant?

if only...

I wish Mondays would be like this ^^

Things said to or about my adopted daughters

I was kinda surprised and yet not.
Sounds weird right!? But it seems no matter where you go people have the same prejudice now as way back when I was younger.
I grew up in Sweden and I have heard these words too.
Today, I just want to laugh at it because of peoples' ignorance. But back then when I was a child it wasn't always easy.
I also think it's not only me, I think parents too, although mine have never said anything, but probably heard something similar too.

Kim Kelley Wagner uploaded a bunch of photos in an album called "Things said to or about my adopted daughters" onto Facebook and since then the word of mouth has spread.
Although I'm not sure if it will have any effect, I still want to share this to show what both GROWN-ups and Children says out loud without thinking.

It's 2014 now, maybe it's time to move forward!?

Life lesson

My mum taught me this too when I was a child, maybe not in this cute manner ^^
But well you get the picture.
Adorable right?? ^^

So in the coming days and weeks you'll get to enjoy some Greek tunes ^^
Here's the first one, Μια χαρά να περνάς (Mia Chara Na Pernas).

Today's quote

"Life is about laughing and living.. In good times and bad times... Getting through whatever comes our way… And looking back with a smile…"

No Limit

I posted another song from his new album a few days ago. Here's the other song I really like from the album.
It's called "No Limit".
Just like previous I found a video with English sub, so enjoy!!

Lee Min Woo - No Limit ^^

The Musketeers

I have found a new tv series, BBC's The Musketeers. The series is based on the characters in Alexandre Dumas's The Three Musketeers. Ten episodes have been produced in Series One which aired from January to March 2014 in the UK. It started in the beginning of March in Sweden, we have aired 2 episodes so far.
It's said that the series has been commissioned for a second series!! ^^
As I have always liked the "story" Three musketeers this felt like a MUST see show and so far, I'm very pleased ^^
Also this is a BBC production, so there's no wonder it has been a hit!! ^^

Plot
Set in 1630 Paris, D'Artagnan, Athos, Aramis, and Porthos are a group of highly trained musketeers who fight to protect the King and Country. The Musketeers shows Athos, Aramis, Porthos, and D'Artagnan as 'The Musketeers', commanded by Captain Treville.

Cast
Luke Pasqualino as D'Artagnan
Tom Burke as Athos
Santiago Cabrera as Aramis
Peter Capaldi as Cardinal Armand Richelieu
Howard Charles as Porthos
Alexandra Dowling as Queen Anne
Ryan Gage as King Louis XIII
Tamla Kari as Constance Bonacieux

Happy White Day!!

Today is March 14 and that means...Happy WHITE Day!!
A friend of mine sent me some virtual candy ^^ So sweet of him right..haha
And today when I came to the office I found these two bags on my desk!

Renee Voltaire's Veggie Chips and Spicy Bananas ^^
I love their Cassava chips so I bet I'll love these too!!

I love my co-worker, I think I have mentioned this before, but I give her Asian stuff and she brings me Renee Voltaire stuff ^^
Great exchange!!!

Veggie chips
The chips are a gentle and lightly salted mixture of cassava, malanga and sweet potao, grown by local farmers in Ecuador.

Spicy Banana
The chips comes from a small banana plantation near Ecuador's coast. The bananas are picked by hand and seasoned with South American chili.

Crush

There's no stop when it comes to K-pop and the ones who are not main stream but is very successful is YG's 2NE1.
This was uploaded onto their YT channel!
It seems like either you like them or hate them...

Which side are you on?
Like it or Hate it?!

さくらてりたま

Sakura or Chery Blossom season is hitting Japan.
I have already seen Häagen-Dazs ice-cream and Starbucks usually has their Sakura frappe. Now McDonald's is back with their Sakura treat. A Cherry Blossom Teriyaki Egg Burger
I should add that it has been upgraded since last year.
It does not only come with a special Sakura sauce, a pink mayo with Japanese radish spread, this year it also has a pink bun!!

It starts going on sale next Friday, March 21. ^^

If you are in Japan...Check it out! ^^

ギミチョコ!

Tomorrow is White day in Asia.
It means the men will give their answer to the girl they like ^^
Oh well... Gimme Choco ^^

Also first time I saw them I thought..hmm.. Where have I seen the vocalist before!?
So I asked my "teacher" Google about her, turns out Su-Metal or Nakamoto Suzuka has been in other bands and her older sister Himeka is a member of Nogizaka46!

Their cd was released a few weeks ago, what do you think of Babymetal?
To me this is too cute to be weird..hahaha
But and this is a funny song!
