希望の環(WA)

In August 2014 a special event to promote recovery efforts in Tohoku area in Japan was held in Paris. miwa wrote a song and performed it the event. Now the song "Kibou no Wa" is being released, making it miwa's 15th single! Both songs are soft ballads and very miwa like. I like both songs. I think Kibou no wa is a great song and it fits the theme. The song gives hope and first time I listened to this I was sitting on a train looking out on the landscape that passed by, it sure fitted the moment!
Well done!! A great ending to 2014 by miwa-chan!! ^^

Once again.. Delight!

It's summer again, and this music belongs to the hit drama "Rich Man, Poor Woman" from 2012! Or to be correct, this belongs to the SP of the drama, and was actually released last spring!
Anyway, I know I have shared this way before, but you see... this one reminds me of summer and happiness so here it is..

Singer songwriter miwa is back with a new single and three new tracks.
All songs are used for various CM's. Faith for U-can, キットカナウ for Kitkat, and It's you for House Wellness Foods.
For some reason, None of these songs can beat don't cry anymore, Hikari-e, or Delight.
Still I'm happy she's going better as an artist, but I wish I'd love these songs even more.
Of these three songs, my fave is キットカナウ. it's a very sweet song ^^
Oh well...in all, so-so and I say better luck next time.

This song is very cute, and very miwa-ish ^^
I like the colours and all, it totally fits!
I wonder what more miwa will deliver this year!

Faraway/KIss You

miwa is back with a new single!
Faraway is a rock number, and Kiss You is the theme song to tv-anime series "Silver Spoon".
The single also includes the ballad version of previous hit single Delight, which was played during drama Rich Man Poor Woman.
As I followed the drama and also loved the ballad version, I was happy to finally get the full ballad version of the song!
This is a must for all miwa fans!! ;)

miwa - Delight

Yesterday, miwa's new album, Delight was released.
I have been looking forward to it a lot and was pleased when I got it.
Although I have heard most songs already, there were a few new songs.
My fave song on this album is Delight, Hikari e, 321, Sayonara, Whistle ~Kimi to sugoshita hibi~ and Nokumori! Most of them I know. But this album by miwa is so far the best, to me!

I need to be reminded

Somehow I need to be reminded how to smile, how to go on, how to be happy.
These couple of days I have been so depressed, almost suicidal, I have lost all hope.
But as said, with my loved ones cheering me on, they helped me back on the right track.
It's still dark but I start to see a small ray of light!!

Today's song is by Japanese singer songwriter miwa.
I really like her "childish" sounded voice, it's soft, yet she can become very powerful.
This song is called ホイッスル ～君と過ごした日々～ (Whistle - Days I spent with you)

OMG.. I finally saw the final episode, or the Special episode of the Japanese RICH MAN POOR WOMAN in New York.

At the end...I loved the comment about the towel.. no cute bears :P
Also, I'm sorry but their English was BEYOND understandable, still I loved the episode.
I don't want this drama to end!!

But what really got me was the NEW insert song by miwa called Delight. I wonder when it will be released.
It really fit the drama! Somebody ripped it from the drama!
I'll patiently wait for the announcement! (my guess is that it will be out before her new album which is said to be released on May 22)
