I haven't been able to update at all, too busy at work.

Anyway the other week I was in Hamburg and as final dinner I was presented with some DELICIOUS Brazilian food!!

WOW amazing... loved it!

It has been almost a year since last time but now I'm back in Hamburg.

Staying here all week!! Lots to do.

For me it will take some time before I will like this song, I much more prefer other tracks on her comeback album.

Förändra Vårdguiden

Jämfört med många svenskar så springer jag inte till vårdcentralen eller akuten för minsta lilla.
En människa har inte dött av en förkylning - bättre att hålla sig varm, dricka te, ta div receptfria läkemedel. Vid feber lika så.

För drygt en och en halv månad sedan drabbades jag av en mystisk förkylning och som vanligt stannade jag hemma o försökte kura mig på bästa sätt.
Men efter 10 dagar med intensiv slemhosta i 18 av 24 timmar så kände jag nehe inget blir bättre nu har jag gjort allt. Jag beslöt mig för att ringa vårdguiden för att ta reda på bästa sätt att träffa en läkare eftersom jag nu kämpat.

Jag ringde och till svar fick jag "Du kan dricka te med honung".
Jag svarade: Jo det är ju ett vanligt husmansknep, jag har både testat honung och citron men inget hjälper. Receptfri hostmedicin är som att dricka socker. Jag har druckit ljummet vatten, sovit högt med ben o huvud etc, men det blir bara värre.
Sjuksköterskan blev nästan på arg när jag sa att det måste finnas något annat, vad är bäst en vårdcentral eller närakut. Tonen i rösten blev irriterad och hon sa till mig "Att hosta 18 av 24 timmar är normalt! Du borde dricka te!"
Jag tänkte.. i vilken värld är det normalt och hur mycket mer te då?


Detta är inte första gången jag fått liknande svar, jag har inte ringt för samma orsak men svaren ger en inget mer än vad jag visste innan jag tog upp telefonen!


Denna gång slutade det med att jag själv bokade en tid på en närakut.
När jag kom in så sa läkaren..Jaha det är du som hostar så förfärligt. Hans rum låg allra längst bort från väntrummet men hade hört mig!
Han gjorde div tester inkl. blodprov. Han trodde jag hade lungeinflammation men testerna visade inget som tydde på det. Han skrev ut 2 olika mediciner till mig. En jättetrevlig läkare.

Han frågade varför jag inte kommit tidigare och ja sa att jag alltid försöker bli frisk på egen hand.
Med hans hjälp blev jag frisk på 3 dagar!!


Landstingen jag förstår att det inte alltid är lätt att ta samtal via telefon men något mer bör er telefonlinje kunna göra!
Idag fyller den inte den funktion som den ska och vissa får helt fel eller inga råd! Jag har uppfattat att den ska vara som ett första stopp för att motverka halva befolkningen ta sig till våra redan överbelastade vårdcentraler, akutmottagningar och sjukhus!

Staying at MBS

To get a room at Singapore's Marina Bay Sands you can book in many different ways.
We booked directly on their website, for us at least it was the best option.
Just a few days before our stay hubby and I decided to upgrade to another view from the room. It was the same price when we booked but since it was close to the stay it went up.
We booked Club King including Afternoon tea, evening beverage and canapes and breakfast.
We came early and decided to leave the bags then to walk around the area. We went to the lounge in tower one. We took a number and was served almost right away. The staff was very friendly and he asked us a few questions - why we were in SG, Been to MBS before, when our flight was...
Then he said "I'm upgrading you free of charge to a suit", "Your room is ready and can check in now no need to wait until 3pm", "I also added a late check out for tomorrow".
The he wrapped our receipt in a folder and gave us the keys. He asked if we wanted to take the luggage or have the staff to do it, however if we waited it'd take some time.
We rolled our luggage and headed straight up to our room, located on Floor 47!!

We opened the door and the curtains unfolded!

As we walked closer to the window this amazing view appeared in front of us

We walked into the second room and found these fellas on the bed.

And then we walked into the bathroom and found this amazing view!!!!

Such amazing room! The shower was huge as well, like a Sauna!!

We quickly undressed and put on Swimsuits and headed upstairs to the famous Infinity Pool, where we spent most time after check in.

We enjoyed lunch at the pool, later afternoon tea at the Club 55.

To cool down from the heat I went for some shopping in the mall downstairs while hubby went to the gym.

Afterwards we headed back to Club 55 for and evening beverages and canapes before going back up to the pool to enjoy the sunset. Like most other visitors. Still the pools weren't over crowded.

For dinner we decided on room service, with a huge selection!!

I really really want to go back there!

We had such an amazing time, it was pricey but worth it!

Ruby KitKat

I got my hands on the hyped RUBY KITKAT, made by ruby cacao aka pink chocolate!
And it wasn't cheap, one piece cost aprox 4 dollars!!!
It's very nice packed and the thickness of the chocolate is like normal kitkats.
This item is ONLY sold at the Kitkat shops in Tokyo - located in department stores.
If you buy 3 you also get the package, maybe not needed but nice if giving as a gift.
I also picked up some other exclusive tastes I will review them later.

For this Pink one, it taste like berries, but nothing WOW about it.
I wonder though why it taste like berries and how it can be pink..haha

It was fun to try, I still have 2 left, will see when I can eat those :)

Pokemon cafe

In March or April.. can't remember.. a new Pokemon cafe was opened in Nihonbashi close to Tokyo Station. Next to the cafe it also hosts a big Pokemon center.

We went there last week, I was thrilled I managed to get us a table. If you haven't heard it's is not easy to get a table. To be sure you should make a reservation. And the reservation page is all in Japanese. So for foreigners it's not as easy.

You can also go and hope they do have seats. When we were there they had a few "counter" seats for singles, actually it's a long giant table but made for "singles" of course if they have multiple seats you can go as a group but you might not get to sit next to each other.

The menu is not so big and quite pricey. Food was ok taste but nothing special.

However it was great it came out as a pokemon character.

You order items from an Ipad and you can make orders throughout the meal, Last order needs to be made before your last 30 min. Each seating is 90 min.

The coffee was way overpriced, 8 USD for a coffee and a mini cookie!!!

But I got a coaster in plastic, I was lucky to get a Snorlax one!

The cafe also sells special goods but nothing special.

it was fun to visit and to see Pikachu.

If you are a Pokemon fan, this cafe is a MUST visit!!!

One of the most popular hotels in the world.

We had such a great time. I so want to visit it again!!

Good Afternoon SG!

Morning back home.

Hot and humid as always.

It will be a busy week a head and not so many updates, a few videos etc maybe.

Lunch at Pom och Flora

The other day I had a delicious late lunch at Pom & Flora in Stockholm.

The place is a bit over hyped I think, the food was delicious, but not GLORIOUS as some call it!!

We had two different egg sandwiches!!! Really enjoyed our foods, will visit again whenever I can find the time :)

Lifestyle lazyness

In the past months trying to cope with life I have lost a lot of interest in a lot of things.
Cooking being one, and the contribution it, or excuse?! is the size of the kitchen and work space.
All in all.. less human effort by yours truly.
Sweden is not most famous for it's cheap food, at leas not unless it's cooked at home!
Take away is of course at the top... but it means you have to go outside or go to the restaurant and pick it up. Of course if it's around the corner there is no biggie.
But if the restaurant is 20-30 min walk, that means it's same distance home. time is money!

So, sadly enough I have been using Uber Eats a lot!!
Why? Because it's convenient, I can order almost anything, yes there is a standard delivery fee, but I'm more than happy to accept if I can "win time".

The positive side from it all I guess is that we have been able to try "new places" meaning restaurants we have never passed before nor knew existed!
I have been able to try new foods and found places I like and places i don't like!

But hopefully in a month or so I will be back on track and cook more.
I want to cook because then I know exactly what's in it - sugar, salt etc.
This all to shape and support my needed nutrition and body!!

삼양 불닭볶음면 - 까르보

I have already reviewed most of the other ones here...

I have to say this one is my fave one!! Like I can eat this ANY DAY.

It's spicy and soooooooo delicious!

Where to begin, it has the spice as the other versions but this one is not only spicy, it has a flavour!

Compare to the cheese version this one has different spices, and the noodles are thick. I kinda wished for the normal ones, less flat and thick. But the taste..so delicious!

I'm kinda sad I only picked up on pack but who could have known. Anyway I can truly recommend this.. not only as a spicy challenge but as a GREAT MEAL!!!

This one is called "Carbo" short for Carbonara :)
