Brunch @ Sirap

I had a craving and asked my darling to go for brunch on Saturday morning as we woke up.

He thought it looked nice so we headed to the brunch café called Sirap (Syurp in English).

It was maybe 7-10 min walk from our house. And wow it was packed!!!!

The place was quite small and it was people everywhere, which means good food..lol

I asked the staff if they had a list or if we should just stand in line, they said just stay and wait, more people piled up and we said, we are in line and as soon as we get a table we will order, so in a way we created a queue. ^^

I wanted to give up, I guess hunger took over. But we stayed put, I really wanted those pancakes.

After 20 min we got ourselves a table in the very corner, super hard to access but a table.

We ordered and we got gigantic plates with deliciousness on them!!!!

I can so recommend this place but yes, you need to wait! And it's worth it. Be sure not too be starving though..haha

Everything was delicious and worth every penny, the place was so crowed, as some left new came!!

And all the orders came pretty quick considering the amount of people.

We also ordered coffee, both at the same price.

I took a regular coffee with milk and my darling a cappuccino.

And the highlight of the day...

Blueberry pancakes!!!

Next time I'm so only gonna go for the pancakes or French toast!! ^^

New travels

Soon off to Germany, Round 1, for a few days.

I cannot complain, I hope for a few good days, lots of work and also meeting some people I have never met before and also some whom I haven't met for years!

Time to go... :)

Training progress

I have tried to step it up but it's hard.

I feel like I get pushed and pushed and reach new limits every time!

Although I'd call BATTLEROPEs my biggest enemy, my second is the ASSAULT BIKE!!

It's dreadful! It's so tough!

But at least I make improvements on it ^^

Wedding fair

Mum and I went to a wedding fair last weekend.

I had a lot higher expectations but I got some good things from it.

I'd say the reason for this was 

1. We already have my venue.

2. We have food and cake prep done.

3. Only ONE florist was there and not so much to show.

4. Not so many new and unique stuff.

I also wanted to find more accessories - not only rings.

And shoes. I bought shoes already but I still wanted to seek further options.

The ones I bought can be used for other occasions too.

But the ones who offered had a very small selection present. Such a shame..

And not so many "stores" were present. I still need to travel around the city..haha

We got some discount coupons to jewelry stores, hopefully we can use it to buy wedding rings!

My best buy were magazines and this book, mum got it for me but it has lots of tips so it will be fun reading ^^ I got a lot magazines cheap so I'm happy ^^

It was a good experience and it gave me some ideas, so I'm happy I attended!

Wedding plans are moving forward.

닭강정 Dinner

I had been craving this food for quite some time.

As my darling had canceled our plans for other things he felt like he needed to make up for it.

So he said he'd make me this for dinner.

We followed Seonkyeong Longest's video. But DO NOT put in jam in it!!!

Whatever you do...DON'T!!! Do not put in any kind of jam!

It totally ruined everything!! Add some syrup or sugar, but not the jam, I became quite sad as I had anticipated, the jam as a BIG BIG NO NO for me!! But the rest of the recipe.. awesome!! ^^

The food is called Dalk Gang Jeong and in English they call is cup chicken? I have no idea of the proper English name..haha
But if you go to Korea, this is a great street food! It's so delicious.

You find the recipe at the bottom that we followed.
But as said, do not use jam..haha

Anyway, it was my darling who made it so it was good :)

Getting Stronger

I'm doing my best, I feel so tired every time I'm done with my sessions.

But I suppose that is a good grade!!

To me it's a quite emotional song, and the lyrics are beautiful.

Still I'm overjoyed with my dress so I'm not too sad at all. And I wouldn't want to change it.

Valentines day dinner

We celebrated Valentines already last Satuday, this is to that today is a VERY busy day for the both of us and we really wanted to enjoy ourselves so therefore we moved it to the weekend.

I already showed you the flowers... I also got some pressies - giftcard and a dress from my darling.

He is the most wonderful man and soon to be called my husband!

We had made a reservation to a restaurant called Panefresco, located in the city center.

The service was very good, I think it also could do with my allergies. They were really careful because in Sweden they know how sensitive people can be.

The restaurant is not the most romantic one, but the food is awesome.

Italian food is simply one of the best!!

Valentine's day!

My love gifted me with these for Valentines day.

I specifically asked for Pink instead of Red flowers.

Last year he gave me the largest roses I had ever seen, so beautiful.

However this year I'd really love some pink colour.

He bought these at my fave flower shop in Stockholm - Agnes & Lisa.

I'm so in love with these, they surely sell the best flowers in Stockholm!!!

Food for thought

Lazy day

Today is a day of rest.

I just went to donate blood, now I just want to relax...

A new diet?

I have started to think, maybe this can be a new diet for me, I think I have shared mukbangs before but some time ago.
However, thinking about it as a diet...I mean..

1. It's mostly junk so it's bad for me anyway, better him than me ^^
2. I cannot get the foods in Sweden so there is nothing to do about the craving
3. It's entertainment

Do you know what Mukbang is??
It's Korean and Muk means eat and Bang is room, so roughly translate "eating room".
What it is, well.. a person eating a lot in front on the camera, kinda weird I know.
But, as they talk while eating and the sounds kinda makes you want to eat.
And yes somethings I get hungry but a lot of these things I cannot get in Sweden.
So I just have to suck it up..haha

Anyway, it's a way for me to keep "slim" yet "enjoy" the food, it's all about fooling the mind!!

Maria Nila colour refresh

This one didn't really colour my hair, but it gave it a better look, it looks more fresh.

I guess it's because of my Asian black hair to start with.

Or maybe if I would have chosen a more colourful colour like pink or purple.

I chose Sand, so it brighten up my current blond colour but it wasn't a wow effect.

On the positive side it did give the hair a smoother look.

I'm pleased, maybe my hair would get even lighter if I chose the white colour ^^

As I walked into COS this piece was the one that cached my eye.

I guess I love orange and red this season, I bought a Marimekko top on sale too.

I love how the print is reflected in this piece and the way it moves!
