Sandwich layer cake

HJ unni came to visit last Sunday. Her very first time in Sweden!

I was overjoyed. We have known each other for 8 years and it was her first time to visit me.

I have always met her in Korea, even lived or stayed at her house on a few occasions.

It was so much fun but short.

Anyway, as she visited, we had a Swedish dinner, lots of Swedish dishes. Among those.. a typical Swedish Layer Cake with shrimp and salmon!!

So awesome ^^

One of my fave Swedish foods, too bad we don't eat it too often, but I guess that's good too... otherwise I would not be able to walk XD

Another product from Innisfree was these pens, I bought two different colours. Lately I prefer these kinds of eye shadow pens compare to normal eye shadow. It might be that I'm lazy but I just like the way you apply it, it's easy and simple.

I wanted to try the blue one but it was sold out everywhere.

In the end I got the Pink Aurora and Lavendel one, they are very nice ^^

I'm happy with my purchase. It was my first time to try Innisfree's pens. I'm positive and pleased!

チェッククロップドパンツ

These kind of pants are super popular in Japan, it took me some time before I decided. In the end I got these gray ones. Being back in Sweden, I now wish I would have had bought the ones in navy as well. Oh well... I survive!? ^^

I really like the simple design and the fit. I tried several, but these were the best. I also chose size L because the small difference in length.

The pants also comes from Emporium, like I said before, I could have had emptied the store!! ^^

What do you think?

I have received lots of good feedback from colleagues, they have asked where I had bought them, and also thought the fabric was super soft, so yes, they are super comfortable ^^

We managed to get the early bird tickets for Stockholm Colour Run 2015!!

It's gonna be my first time to attend and I'm excited.

I'm a little behind on this one, but I'm really gonna try to watch it. It sounds like a different kind of Secret Garden and what I have read and seen on YT it looks like a lot of fun. A real drama!
I also love Hyun Bin being all crazy and I have missed him a lot so it's fun to see him on tv again!

I came across this store for the first time last time in Japan.

It's called Cecil Days, To me it was a bit more mature that Cecil McBee but I'm still not sure what kind of relations they have, except the same online-mall owner.

And they also have children's clothes. Anyhow, I found this cute skirt on sale. I have similar shorts from the previous year, but lately I'm really into skirts ^^

The fabric of this one is really soft, despite being 100% Polyester! And I have so many short skirts, it's good to also have a some longer ones, especially since I'm getting older (T_T;;)

Deliciousness

Last weekend I met up with Hanna, whom I haven't been able to meet for weeks.

We did some shopping, then we ended up at a cafe in Old Town called Chokladkoppen.

We ordered these two cakes/pies and shared. White chocolate cheesecake and Blueberry pie.

Both were huge so we couldn't finish them, but they were super delicious, worth every penny.

I realized I hadn't been there for 2-3 years!! I cannot believe time passes so fast.

It was truly AWESOME and we did lots of talk about life, this and that, and nothing!!

동창생

This is another movie I had been looking forward to get my hands on, not because it seemed like a WOW movie, but to see a bad ass TOP is fun!!

I wonder if I could ever see him as a cute and innocent guy?! He's made to be bad..haha

As said the movie story is interesting, and you can easily understand what will happen.

Still it was a "fun" movie to watch. I believe that there are many similar things like this going on in South Korea but of course it's a secret ^^

When I came to the office the other day i found this.

My colleague had borrowed it from the library for me.

I'm gonna give it a go and see what happens.

This is a children's book in Finnish and it comes with a cd, so I can follow the text while listening.

Sooner or later I should be able to be able to at least pick up something... I hope ^^;;

Last time in Korea was the first time I think I have bought something from Innisfree. Or well I have probably bought something small like nail polish or a facial mask, however this time I decided to try out their make up. It has been growing and received good critics so I thought it was time.
One of the things I bought was this powder. I haven't used powder for a long time as my skin used to be super dry, but it has become way better since I have been using lots of other products.
Anyhow, I'm really happy with this one, not only that's powder, it's the way it feels when applying. It's super soft and gives a great tone to the skin! I'm really really satisfied!!! I totally recommend this "Mineral Ultrafin Pact" powder from Innisfree!!

[더 스타일] 스윗라인 블러셔 (1호 샤이핑크)

My Asian friends always use a blusher, I stopped many years ago because I felt I got too red.

However I think I have aged and my redness as not as great as it was before. Also most of my Asian friends has a more pinkish tone, so I went around the different make-up stores in Seoul, and fell for this.

Missha is also one of my fave brands, so it's a good luck ^^

It was quite cheap, 9 800 won and it came in different colours, I liked this one the most, but I also asked the sales clerk which one was the most popular, she said..the one you are holding! ^^

I don't think I have found this kind of colour in Sweden, maybe it's because of the different kind of skin tones?!

Oh well.. it'll probably last for a year so it was totally worth the money!!

I have heard bits of this song on TV as this is used for VOLVO's new commercial. However I finally found the whole version.
And... I love it!!!
It comes with English subtitle so for all of you who do not speak Swedish can understand ^^
The singer is Amanda Bergman and the song is called Vintersaga.

수상한 그녀

This movie was quite popular last year, my friend told me to watch it so I did. I'd say this is a typical Korean family situation with a happy ending of course. I think many who are not used to the Korean culture will think that this movie is weird in many ways, and I'd say it has to do with the language. If you understand Korean it makes more sense. Also I'd say they have made this into a "and they lived happily ever after" movie, which is very cliche. Still entertaining.
I was happily surprised by the main actress Shim Eun-Kyung, She does very well in this movie and I have watched various dramas and movies but I have to say this left the biggest impression ^^

It has been a long wait, I actually wanted to get it back in 2013, but just like this time I had bought so many things so I was unable to get it.

I wasn't sure I could get it this time to because they didn't have it on display. They only had the small sized one.

Also I do feel kinda stupid for getting this colour, it sorta reminds me of my MK bag. But well.. I like the colour. And I totally forgot the other colours it came in so I didn't really think straight. I got the sales clerk to go over to their warehouse to find it, so I didn't really want her to look too much. I was happy she went there to get this big one. ^^

I think the design is super cute, simple yet classy! And this colour match most things I have at home.

So I'm very pleased with my purchase. A lot of people has also given me lots of nice comments.

However as Samantha Thavasa and Samantha Vega is a Japanese brand they do not really see it in the same way as I do. Especially since it's not as popular outside of Asia.

Oh well... I don't care, I love this brand and my bag. I found so many nice bags at the store, but since they are quite pricey I decided only to get one this time (^^;;)

I got the M size or in my opinion... the L size. Although the small one is cute, I need a big one to fit all of my "junk" (^^;;)

I have heard so much about this movie. I want to see it in one way and I don't in another.
We'll see how it goes ^^

I wanted to see this because of the main actor Jang Hyuk. And the story seemed like a typical Korean madness story. And a little bit like the American movie: The Hand That Rocks the Cradle. It is truly a movie with many creepy things, sorry but it's difficult to explain, it must be watched. You feel kinda disgusted. They carry it out well, but it's not a movie I'd want to watch again.

It's too much, but I bet these things happen in real life all over the world. And in the end there's only one kind of end. The title is "Ga-Shi" in Korean and they have given it the English title Innocent thing. However, the more correct translation would be Thorn.
