So what do you think of turning around a bit..
By that I'm talking about ads.
Take a look at this and let me know what you think ;)
Since publication on April 3, 2013 this video has had over 1.4 million views!
The students of UofS (Uni. of Saskatchewan) wanted to show how the media portrays gender roles and stereotypes in advertising.
It's kinda funny when you turn it around, the other way looks stupid. I still wonder why it's "okay" one way but not the other, or maybe I have gotten used to it and do not care anymore.
In all, a great topic and it shows how much humans have to learn!!
This morning while walking to the bus stop i got a message on my phone and as i answered and looked back on the path i was walking on i got a huge surprise.
In front of me, like 3 meters away a beautiful roe deer was looking at me!
We starred at each other for 1min before i decided to take out my phone and take a photo.
As i took out my mobile, i saw the look on its face..and it turned and started walk off.
As that one left another one appeared. A male roe deer, with his horns he looked quite scary.
Anyway i managed to take two snap shots of them.
The strange thing is that i live in Stockholm, and although there are some trees and bushes it's still not the environment you normally would spot these creatures.
Guess you can call this a once in a lifetime moment!
Not only is the schedule out for this year's waku waku gakkou, now the goods list is out.
And for the first time ever... for me as an Arashi fan, I will be able to go and buy them myself!!
I will go there on June 28, and that will say, I have to wake up EARLY in morning so I can do shopping afterwards :P Because I don't want to stand there all day.
Wonder what to buy and hope it won't get sold out on Thursday, although it's tempting to buy it already on Thursday, I have made other plans for that day.
Besides, the goods is not all in life ^^
I'm most interested in the bags - school and lunch bag, letter set, slippers, school badge, and mirror!
First video product from Leo Ieiri and the dvd mainly features her concert held at Umeda Club Quatro in Osaka.
Although it's a very simple setting and all, she makes it very warm and you get a certain feeling also here and there she involves the audience! :)
I kinda sense a mix of YUI and Ayaka in her, but she got a slightly more rocky style.
My fave songs from this live is Hello, Kimi dake, Lady Mary, Last Stage, Linda, Bless you and Say Goodbye.
The dvd also includes behind the scenes and interview ^^

How many have anticipated this solo debut? I have..!!
And I think it's really great for CL, but... the lyrics is awesome but the music is not my cup of tea.
It fits CL and all, and I have tried to listen to it but it doesn't get to me, I really wish it would but sadly not. And even though this is the title track, I still anticipate the rest.
I have told you about my thesis and my thoughts about them. The hell we have gone through etc.
Today we had a final seminar with other people, where they had read the full version and gave their opinions.
I thought... that they'd rip us apart and say that it sucks!! Yepp, I imagined I'd walk out of their crying my eyes out. A little bit over over exaggerate but~
But... what happened?! Seems like they "liked" us the most of the other groups.
Of course we got things we need to check and fix, but it's not so severe as I had imagined.
So happy days!!
Tonight I will relax and start checking stuff tomorrow!!
Last night just after I went to bed my mum told me to come out and take a look at the moon.
It was kinda amazing, I don't think I have seen that kind of reddish colour before.
I took the photos with my phone, so the quality or the size is quite small.
I have talked about this girl before, Leo is an upcoming artist in the Japanese music industry, not only does her eyes make her stand out, she's also very talented.
She has been produced under the same person as Ayaka and YUI, so I guess that gives a lot away!
Although we handed in our thesis the other day, it's not over yet!
Today I spent many hours reading other groups essays, trying to understand and evaluate.
Not easy, not at all..
Anyway, soon time to sleep! I'm exhausted. I want June 7 to come..... NOW
This morning I woke up to an exciting email... from the Arashi FC.
They will hold Waku waku gakkou this year too, with shows in Tokyo and Osaka Dome.
They will have 3 shows in Tokyo, and I want to attend the FIRST ONE. as I go to Hokkaido during the day when SHOW 2 and 3 is held.
Yesterday, miwa's new album, Delight was released. I have been looking forward to it a lot and was pleased when I got it. Although I have heard most songs already, there were a few new songs. My fave song on this album is Delight, Hikari e, 321, Sayonara, Whistle ~Kimi to sugoshita hibi~ and Nokumori! Most of them I know. But this album by miwa is so far the best, to me!
I found this by accident and I have to say, there are some very talented people out there!!!
It's amazing how some people can create this kind of art!!
Also, to make these SAILOR MOON characters are not easy. I'm positing my fave characters from the manga, although these two might not be the most difficult to create. (Sailor moon has lots more colour)
I love latte art... it's beauty in a cup!
Sailor Mars
Tuxedo Kamen
For more photos go to the site where I found it... Sailor Moon Latte Art
The creator of these and many more has her own Twitter... please visit for more photos! Nowtoo's Latte Art
I fell for this song while watching the SP of Rich Man Poor Woman.
And now it's finally here, the full song!!
I love it, the lyrics make me feel "genki", I really needed this kind of power song!!
Hope you enjoy it too ^^
One day less... until I start my minor Asia tour.
I'm so excited.
Yesterday a friend of mine told me she got the day off when I'm visiting her hometown, that means we can spend more time together!!
Last time we only, not so but.. had dinner. This time we can do more :) :)
"Gratefulness is the key to a happy life that we hold in our hands, because if we are not grateful, then no matter how much we have we will not be happy."
So the winner of ESC 2013 is Denmark and Emmelie de Forest.
They already talked about her weeks ago, that she'd win it all, and so she did!
I'm not surprised.
I was holding on Greece, the song "Alcohol is free" just made me die of laughter and they had a fun performance with Greek elements - dance and instruments ;)
The ESC show in general was so-so.
I zapped between channels, but I guess that's because I'm not a huge fan of the show and I had already seen the performers I liked.
The Swedish host Petra did a good job being alone and all, but her English, not bad but seriously could she have had STOPPED reading her memo-cards?! Her English sounded like someone reading lines directly from a script, which she did, and that was what made it boring. Her French was much better though, so extra points for that. And what did Eric Saade do there? His English was totally fine but what he said was just rubbish, he was too nervous! After his second line I put on mute, he made everything look and sound weird.
And... I have a question regarding what's political and not!? They have stated that political messages should not be presented or shown in the ESC, however this year's topic became all about homosexuality. Sweden is open to homosexuality, but other participating countries in ESC are not.
So when the Finish girls ended with a kiss earlier this week some countries threw a fit about it. And others told them to grow up! XD Which they talked about yesterday... Then, during show about SWEDEN, the one while all countries voted, had two men kissing each other. All things in the show was kinda true, Sweden in a nutshell, but afterwards it got me thinking... shouldn't that, too, be counted as political?
The man behind this show, the Swedish boss of ESC is openly gay, so to be in a way, it wasn't a surprise when the kiss occurred in that segment.
But in all.. Gay or Straight, Christian or Muslim, Black or White, Young and Old... What's politically right or wrong? It feels weird to say that some is okay and other isn't. Especially since the "gay topic" is a mixed topic around the world.
Well well...not to be too focused about it, it's just a show....
Anway see you next year, 20 min away, in Denmark.
Not sure if they will hold the show in CPH, but it's most likely!
少女時代 or SNSD's new japanese song is out..
The PV, promotion video as it's called in Japan is out.
This is the first Japanese SNSD single, I think is only so-so.
I don't know what it is, I wasn't too happy about the previous either but at least it had a beat.
This one, I'm not sure what to call.
But what I do like is the colours, it gives a summer feeling!!
Anyway, I'm looking forward to their new album...
I wonder what it will bring ;)
Today me and my partner, whom I'm writing my thesis with, went out in the Stockholm archipelago...all to fix with our thesis.
However it was cloudy, so it became a so-so day.
Kinda sad, i wanted a sunny day, the archipelago is amazing when it's sunny!
I'm not a fan of ESC but I don't have anything else to do, so I guess I will watch it.
And the one to represent Sweden is Robin Stjernberg. The song is called You.
It's not good nor bad, it's an OK song.
Wonder what'll happen, I most look forward to the ABBA and Avicii performance!! ^^
Even though I like places that are unique, this one might be a little to extreme?!
Their theme is "toilet". I'm not sure if that's supposed to engage people to get their appetite running or feel sick. When I heard it then saw the photos I got mixed, should I think this is exciting or not!?
So... after a few min of thinking over this, I can say that I wouldn't run to this restaurant, but if I'd visit Shanghai and have time I'd try to go, just because... and I guess that's their aim, the curiosity.
See, I'm such a bad customer, no self esteem :P
Anyway, what about you, would you want to dine on a toilet?!
and eat and drink from miniature toilets?
In previous post I posted the music video for their new title track, This Love. I also have to mention that I got the album today! I'm sooooooooooo happy!! ^^ I really needed this to cheer me up in the mist of my business writing my stupid thesis. I just have to add, the Gangnam Style director Jo Soo Hyun has also made the dance choreography and a music video for This Love! The album is very Shinhwa like to me, with a mix of songs. Ballads for HyeSung and Dongwan, Rap for Andy and Eric, and some dance for Minwoo and Junjin ;) My fave songs are 그래, 디스 러브 (This Love), 웃다가 and 허리케인 (Hurricane)!

According to todays version of Metro, SM Entertainment has come to Stockholm,Sweden!
Why you might ask, well that's simple, to find the next super hit!
In the article it talks about previous hits Swedish producers created for various SM artists.
As many, might, know already, Swedish producers are popular in Asia and they have created lots of hit songs for some of the major J- and KPop groups!
Anyway now it's just to wait and see if they can produce something that SM approves!
Also next time, bring the artists with you ;)
Note to Metro, Tohoshinki is the JAPANESE name, Dong Bang Shin Ki is the KOREAN name...since the article was about Kpop ;)
Because of my thesis my writing will be inconsistent from now on, it really sucks but it cannot be helped!
Anyway I hope i will pass, but as I have said many times, this thesis is really K I L L I N G me!
I have passed it several times with the bus, but yesterday was the first time i set foot in the new local bakery.
It was very cute inside, what a small bakery should look like ^^
And they had lots of things to offer, in the end i bought a rye bread with lots of sunflower seeds on top.
And the best part, it was super delicious!!!!!!
I will so go back there ;)
Next time i think i will try some of their cinnamon or cream buns
I have said it before, she's one of my fave solo artists in Asia!! Just like I said about Shinee in previous post, this girl has developed a lot since her debut! She has a strong voice and I think her label should promote her a lot more. She's pretty, she's funny and she's a great singer!! Younha is now back with a new mini album called "Just listen", the album contains a mix of songs, she really shows how talented she's!!! Great to have you back Younha!! :)
It feels unreal to look at them now and think of the young boys I met back in 2008!! It's really different from "Nuna is pretty" and this style. Shinee's concepts are amusing and it's exciting to watch their progress. However this album is not what I hoped for. The lyrics for why so serious to me is a joke, I don't get excited at all! maybe I'm too old to get the "zombie who lives in darkness falling in love with a human girl" thing.... the only songs that appeals to me are Like a Fire,Evil, and 떠나지 못해, they remind me of the old and innocent Shinee :P

Yesterday when I came home from work and grocery shopping I found a small package in my mailbox.
It was my Arashi Popcorn dvd (^0^) I got so excited until I realized I won't be able to watch it until final days of May, or beginning of June.
Anyway, what's good is worth waiting for right!? :)
I saw this article morning, it says that South Korean children are trained what to do if a terrorist attack would occur!
According to the training, to put the backpack above your head will help.
I'm not sure if you will have time to do so in real life~
Yesterday as I was relaxing I happened to watch the One Direction documentary.
To be honest it was quite amusing, I mean I know who they are and I have heard some of their major singles. But other than that I did not know.
Anyway during the talks they had one of the members, said Steps had reunited!!
I was like.. what!?
I grew up listening to Steps, I wasn't a huge fan of them, but I had one cd and have heard most of their songs. But they split up..like 10 years ago!!!
So after watching that I had to YouTube them...
The song wasn't too bad, but well it feels like travelling back in time, although they look older! :P
I wonder if they will release more stuff?! anyway for now, hello good bye.
Korean singer songwriter Younha is back with a new tune.
The song was released a few days ago, but due to my stupid thesis I'm a bit behind in the updates.
The title of the new song is 우리가 헤어진 진짜 이유 (The real reason why we broke up).
It's a quite sad song but as always Younha carries it out perfectly.
The lyrics describe a couple that pursue different values in the relationship, and the girl recalls memories from the relationship and tries to find the reason why they broke up.
It's really fun to hear a new song from Younha, and asap I will try to listen to her new mini album called "Just listen".
Not sure if I should call it a sensation, rather a weird invention?!
I have had a ramen burger in Japan before (in 2011), not sure if I liked it or not.. It wasn't bad at all but wasn't wow either.
Anyway it's not the first time, The Japanese like to try new things. Their fastfood chain Lotteria (simular to McD and Burger King) is now offering these dishes - Ramen burger and kaedama (second service of noodles)
Accoring to the news this has been produced under the supervision of the famous Japanese ramen restaurant “Menya Musashi”. This product will be sold for a limited time only! May 20 to mid-june (I so want to try it, I wonder if they still will sell it in the end of June, i know it said mid-june but I can still hope right)
So what's this dish made of...
Well ramen noodles of course, which have been seasoned and slightly grilled to a patty, barbecued pork in sweet brown sauce and some mayonnaise. The burger is served with fish broth.
For the hungry one, it's possible to add 100 yen and get “Kaedama” – a second grilled ramen patty, with extra soup.
Although I'm usually a fan of Rihanna's uptempo songs, I really like this side of her too.
I wonder why they do not play this song more often on radio stations...!?
My sleepless nights are taking over my life.
How will this story end?
It feels so hopeless, do i worry too much?
I need positive energy to fill this doubting mind of mine!!
Today, it's 49 days left... actually by this time in 49 days I will be up in the air and on my way to Seoul, South Korea!!
At the moment it seems so far away!
Until that day, or well.. the coming 30 will be busy! My thesis are killing me, although most of the work is done, now it's time to get the final parts down.
Within less than a week the first FINAL draft has to be presented, within 16 days the second FINAL draft, and in 26 days...something like that anyway, the definitive FINAL edition has to be sent in!!
Although 26 days sounds like a lot, it will pass like nothing. I mean we started aprox. 30 days ago...!!
There are times children goes through a tough time but no one to tell or seek out for help.
I think this kind of ads is amazing! It really shows the younger ones that there are help out there, without being afraid of adults trying to tell them the difference.
This ad was hosted in Spain..
However now when the secret of it is exposed, I wonder how it will be used in the future.
Even though I wanted to give myself some extra sleeping time I still woke up at 6.20 am!!
I guess I snoozed a bit but I couldn't fall asleep again, which sucked, I really needed the extra hours, as I tomorrow, Wednesday and Friday have to wake up at 6 to be in school and at work.
Oh well.. only a few weeks left of this right!?
At least by waking up I have done some progress with my studies!!
I fell for this song first time I heard it. Maria Mena is really talented when it comes to producing great songs!
I cannot wait until her new album, Weapon in mind, will be released.
This song is one of the songs on her upcoming album, which is said to be released in September!
Here's Maria Mena live at Swedish TV4's Nyhetsmorgon, May 1 2013. "I always liked that"
Same performance - but one is from Youtube, other is Tv4's homepage, not sure if people outside Sweden can access it, therefore two links.
"Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal." - 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
While my friends travel the world or enjoy normal life without any major complications, I'm stuck with my thesis.
Right now I just want to get done with them!!
I don't see an end even though it's only a few weeks left. I guess I just have to suck it up... not as easy as it sounds but I try to tell myself that anyway.
My mum and dad have really been helping out a lot, I guess age makes you wise :P
Oh well... I got lots done today, and more is needed to be done tomorrow and so forth~
I love the original version by Rihanna, and friends keep on singing it so it's stuck on my mind.
Today I heard another version made by Norwegian singer songwriter Maria Mena.
I think I even love this version even more!!!! *oops did I say that out loud?!*
I'm trying to understand the difference but so far I can't.
I know the difference between Kodama, Hikari and Nozomi, the normal shinkansen as I call them.
But this time I will go to Hokkaido and they have different names, Hayate and Hayabusa. From what I read...and understood, Hayabusa is faster.
Still it's confusing to me.
Well well it will probably get clearer later, but for now I have concentrate on my studies.
(T_T)
Today I feel a bit up and down, I guess it's all the study I have to do.
Anyway, this song is really good, it's by Japanese singer songwriter YUI and it's called to mother.
I really really love this song!!!
So here's two different live versions of the song.
I haven't eaten the Korean snack ddeokbokki since last January, and yes i miss it!
I have already decided which ddeokbokki places i will visit in Seoul!!
Anyway, i visited the Korean food store the other day and found a kit with everything including noodles.
And so i decided to buy it!
It was totally heaven to eat it! And it got me excited about my upcoming travel!
I already talked about this with a friend, the upcoming tour... why do I have to miss it.
Today Shinhwa company released this teaser for their upcoming tour.
However they also uploaded the image for their new album called XI The classic! That's right, 15th anniversary and 11th album!
I'm excited and I wonder what the new album will sound like!! I want it..I want it.
But since I booked all of my Japanese hotels etc I'm kinda short on money (T_T)
Anyway, let the countdown begin! The album will be released on May 16!!!!
