How to control it?

The Swedish news talked about ads and commercial that's directed towards children.
We do have a law against such on tv, papers and magazines. But since the boom of internet it's difficult to track down.
Obviously people are concearned that children will be exposed and will not understand it and therefore create a wish and want for things they shouldn't even know about?!

Hello, It's time to wake up!!

Companies will always find new ways of reaching out to people, that's obvious.. just look on the progress in technology, fast food etc in the last couple of years! I mean why are people so surprised that this even exsist?

Listening to this it sounds VERY old fashion.
Today's children are living in a totally different world than I did 10 years ago when I was in the so called risk zone.
We did not get exposed to ads and commercial as much as today however of course there were ads in the old days too still internet wasn't as big as it is today!
But what I get from this and most things that cause issues these days are that parents lack skills of responsibilty! As long as they give a child a computer, fast food, money etc. they think it's fine, since they do not have to actually deal with them!
We never talk about this but maybe it's TIME for the parents to act what they are supposed to be ADULTS!! Being an adult means you have a certain responsibility!

Why always blame the children or others for the issues?
Why not blame the parents, schools or teachers?

Some simple answers to this issue could be:
1. PARENTS take resposibility for your children, do not just give them a computer so that YOU do not have to deal with them.

2. PARENTS - teach your children to only use certain websites that you approve off! It there are too much ads then you should think TWICE before letting your child be exposed!!

3. Children under 15 should NOT have Facebook!! (On facebook they can find anything and everything, anc since it's a worldwide used site it's difficult to put restrictions OR have a censored version of FB - a version for people under the age of 18!!)
